Chapter 262

What's Inside?
A Farm!
Once I enter my Domain I see Asami sitting on the floor. She has dirt on her face, hands, and around her knees. Her hair is matted with sweat. Eimbis is laying in her lap and it looks like he's grown bigger. He used only to have his tail and a bit of his side hanging off her. Now he has his two back legs on the floor.
"Master! Are you on your free period already?" She asks me and I nod.
"Are you okay? You seem tired." I ask and she smiles.
"I was helping Ramia and her parents set up the farm. The others are out there as well, but I needed a break." She says and I smile.
"Where did they decide to set it up?" I ask while sitting down next to her. Eimbis crawls onto me and rests his head and front legs on me. His back legs and tail are on Asami's lap. Asami giggles seeing this and I start petting him.
"We decided to use the plot of land behind the cabin. It's an empty flat land next to the edge of the forest. Apparently, certain ingredients only grow under shade so they needed it to be close to the forest so we could use the trees." She says and I nod.
"What do you think about the farm?" I ask her and she thinks it over.
"I think it's a great idea. Alchemy ingredients can be expensive so this will certainly make Ramia happy. Not to mention we could sell them if needed. Due to the magic nature of Alchemy ingredients not many places can grow them. Most of them are places where Dungeon have been left to be farmed. That way the mana from the Dungeon can feed the plants. But that just goes to help fund the Dungeon's security, causing them to be pricey. Sorry, I'm ranting. My point is that it's a great idea." Asami answers and I smile.
"Good, I was a little worried you or the others wouldn't like it." I say before pulling out the papers I finished earlier. "On another note, here you go. It's the papers you gave me for the office building. Sorry it took so long."
"Finally, I was going to **** you to do this tomorrow morning since you're on your break." Asami says while taking the papers and causing me to laugh. I start to stand up and Eimbis jumps off us.
"I'm going to check on the others, and see how the farm is coming along." I tell Asami before helping her up.
"I'm going to wash up before sending this to the realtors." She says before walking off. I leave the cabin and check the time I have before I have to go back. I see I have about thirty-five minutes left. I take out my wings and start flying. I go straight up before turning around. All I know of where the farm is, is that it's behind the cabin. I find it almost immediately, since it's about half a mile from the cabin. I see a few lines of dirt that have been dug up. I can see the figures of the girls moving around. I fly down and land a few feet away from the lines. I can see the lines have already been planted. Most of them have plants already growing.
"Alpha!" I hear Luna shout, snapping me out of my thoughts. I turn and see her running towards me. Her claws and fur are covered in dirt and soil. I swap to my armor before she jumps for her usual tackle/hug. Once she does she looks up at me. "Why do you always swap to your armor?" She asks, pouting a little. "Do you not like my hugs?"
"No, I like them. But I can't let my school uniform get dirty. Otherwise, I wouldn't have swapped." I tell her and she smiles. I see her tails start wagging and petting her.
"H-hey Eric." I hear Ramia say. I turn to look at her and am a little shocked by what I see. Ramia's wearing a white shirt under blue overalls. She has a small garden shovel in one of its pockets. Her long white hair has been tied up into two buns. Luna lets go and steps back.
"Hey Ramia, how's everything going?" I ask and she turns back to the farm.
"Great! W-we're making great progress and were a-able to replant some of my p-parents crops." She says excitedly and I smile.
"You replanted?" I ask her and she nods.
"We took them with us when we left the Elven forest." I hear a man say. I turn and see Harry, Ramias father standing next to her. "We carefully took them out and put them in a special Spacial Pouch. This one kept them from decaying so we could replant them later. But we didn't expect to plant them again so soon. We can't thank you enough for this." He says before bowing and I smile a little awkwardly.
"It's fine, I had my own reasons for wanting to start the farm. Besides, it'd be a waste not to use the land if it's good for growing Alchemy ingredients." I say as Anna, Ramia's mother, walks next to him. She smiles and looks at me before talking.
"Well, Eric. If you ever decide to marry Ramia, just know you have our blessing." She says causing my mind to halt so I can process what she said.
"Mom!" Ramia groans causing her mother to chuckle.
"Honey, don't you think she's too young for that." Harry tells his wife and she nods.
"She is, for now. I'm just thinking about the future dear." Anna tells her husband. Ramia clears her throat to get our attention.
"Anyway, we have more work to do! Eric, you have to get back to school don't you?" She says, trying to change the subject. She's blushing brightly and I smile, having another bad idea.
"No, I have about twentyish minutes before I need to." I say and she looks at me a little frustrated.
"O-okay. Eric, can you help me over here? Mom, dad, can you two go work on the Shadeshrooms?" Ramia says while pointing to the other side of the dirt lines before pointing to the trees, in the opposite direction. Her parents nod and chuckle before walking towards the trees.
"Sorry if I took it too far Ramia." I tell her while she leads me around the dirt lines.
"N-no, it's fine." She tells me before stopping a few feet from the lines.
"So what do you need help with?" I ask and she points to the ground at our feet.
"We need a fence. The animals in your Domain could try to eat the crops. Normally we would get a deterrent to keep animals away, but it doesn't work on Domain animals. It's because Domain animals are made of mana." She says, answering my question before I could ask.
"Do you want to go to a store later? I don't have time right now." I ask and she shakes her head no. She opens her mouth to speak with a smile on her lips.
What Does She Say?
