Unintelligible

You take your seat.

Professor Lee enters the room and begins scribbling equations on the board. You are lost the moment the chalk hits the board.

Occasionally, the Professor speaks. With his heavy accent it clears up nothing for you.

Worse yet, as an added element of distraction, you swear the girl next to you is masturbating.

Thankfully, the class finishes. You head outside. It is dusk and you head back to your dorm.

You are almost there when a woman steps out of the shadows and blocks your way. She is thin and elegant. Her hair is black and shines like pitch. She is pale with bright red painted lips that curve into a cruel smile. She wears an expensive black dress that clings to her size one figure.

“So you’re the little hero. You don’t look like the type.”

“Excuse me?”

She grins showing canines that are long enough to be considered fangs.

“You hindered my protégé’s bullying.”

“That blonde bitch?”

“You do remember her. I can’t have you helping people like that, dear.”

“What are you going to do to stop me?”

She laughs. “First, I’m going to have them make Mel’s life a living hell and I think they should have just enough time to make yours a living hell as well.”

“Leave the poor girl alone.”

“Interesting, you care more about strangers than yourself. Tell you what. If you wear this collar, I’ll have both of you left alone.”

With a puff of smoke, she pulls a collar out of thin air. It looks like little more than a pretty black choker.

The hairs on the back of your neck stand up and you look more closely at her. Petite black horns are nearly hidden in her hair.

“You’re a demon!”

“Observant, aren’t we. Why, yes I am.”

“So what would your collar do to me?”

“I swear on pain of Wrach, it will not harm you. Wear it for one week and Mel and you will be left alone by my girls for the remainder of the year. Do we have a deal?”

You can’t imagine a deal with a demon could be good. On the other hand you can’t be around to protect Mel and you’ve just horribly screwed up her life.
