Peace

Though you enjoy reuniting with your family, you don’t stay long. It may be where home was, but your home now is elsewhere. After about a week, you set sail and return to Hope. Your father makes plans for regular visits, and talks of a trade route begin, but those are for the future.

Time moves on, and you settle in Hope, making it your permanent home. You see the town flourish around you, and although you have little hand in its success now, you can’t help but feel a bit of pride. The town is peaceful and vibrant, and a wonderful home for your growing family.

You made it back to Hope in time for Cassie to have her child, an adorable, tiny version of herself. She names her daughter Lynnette, inspired by her new friendship with your aunt. Cassie’s adoptive mother, Bella, is beaming with joy, even as her own pregnancy continues. Cassie and her daughter are two of a kind, carefree and happy, always a ray of sunshine.

Alex, similarly energetic, gives birth to an adorable daughter as well. Naming her Reini, she fawns over the tiny fire spirit, throwing herself into motherhood with a passion you hadn’t expected. In spite of that, she never loses her endearing free spirit, and as little Reini grows, she blooms into a similar mold. The two of them seemingly never tire, constantly on the move, but their love for you and each other never wavers.

Melora couldn’t be more different. The seer seems to settle in, all her tension and worries gone. She too gives birth, a baby boy she names Theo. As he grows, he shows signs of having the sight like his mother. The two of them spend a lot of time in study, something they both seem to enjoy.

Sarah, meanwhile, goes back to working in the forge. She quickly gains renown for her skills, both in smithing and in combat, competing in local tourneys to keep her skills sharp. She gives birth to twins, a pair of hellhound girls who she names Frae and Sonya. They’re wild, even as children, and you predict that they’ll grow to be the first to leave on an adventure, likely as a pair.

Nadia seems to enjoy the peaceful forests around Hope, going out often simply to enjoy nature. She gives birth to a daughter, Eileen, who takes after her mother, down to the flowing red hair. The two of them are constantly dragging you into the woods to relax, or in Nadia’s case, for a bit of ‘privacy’.

Lilith never becomes pregnant, despite being one of the most sexual of your companions. It doesn’t seem to matter to her, as she spends every night with one of you, and many times much of the day. When you ask about it, she simply grins, and claims she’s ‘making up for lost time’, which you can’t disagree with. Certainly, no one has any complaints!

Finally, Ferra. First and most adored of your companions, she is ever present by your side. By her insistence, you make repeated visits to your parents, and she always finds time to visit Kali and Clarissa. When she gives birth to a baby boy, she looks ecstatic, naming him Xavier. It’s not long before she’s pregnant again, and you see how happy that makes her. When you ask her why, Ferra smiles and tells you that she loves you, and that part of that is bringing more pieces of you into the world. It’s hard to argue with that kind of love.

Your story doesn’t end here, but it does become far less exciting. And you wouldn’t trade it for anything.
