Game #0 – Round 3

I shook my head yes and I felt a dice appear in my hand. "Let's hope for another 1." I said tossing the dice onto the table. When the dice came to a stop, I saw that I had rolled a 3. The face down cards quickly flipped over and my eyes focused right in on the Spell: Gift card. "That would be perfect!" I thought as I reread the caption. Quickly glancing at the rest of the cards I knew I didn't want to reroll and pass up my chance at this card, but there were a couple cards that I absolutely wanted to avoid. I glanced up at the TV. "Shit... She's out of mana..." I felt a mental nudge from the man encouraging me to buy some mana. "Fine I'll buy 2 mana."

Katelyn, who was still trying to read all of the captions, looked back over her shoulder. "Wait what!?!"

"And then I'll take the pick one less option." Katelyn's mana pool dropped to 1 on the screen. "And we can start the round." I felt Katelyn slap my arm.

"What the hell is going on?" She blurted out.

"O yeah... You don't really know the rules do you?" I pointed at the TV screen. "I have options up there and there's mana..." I felt like my brain suddenly locked up.

"Look if you were too stoned to pay attention to the rules that's your fault." The man interjected. "Now let's play."

I suddenly felt my brain begin to run again. I briefly rubbed my temple and looked at the dice that had appeared in my hand. "Just trust me that I'm trying my best." I said to Katelyn, before I tossed the dice onto the table.

"Finally!" The man said rubbing his hands together. He must of have been reading my mind when I saw the Overgrown and Eidetic Erotics cards slide forward. "Now what are you going to do Mr. Goody Two- shoes?"

Honestly neither card sounded that appealing. I was either going to mess up her memory or she was going to constantly be hanging out of her clothes. "Fuck..." I let out a sigh as I reread the cards.

"Adam." Katelyn nudged me. "Go with Eidetic Erotics." Shocked by her suggestion I picked up the card to reread it. "It says I can remember whatever I want, but only if I'm horny... And now that I have these lips." She motioned to her lips without touching them. "It's kind of easy for me to get you know... So that might actually be a useful card. At least it sounds better than the other one..."

Still not 100% sold on her idea I let out a sigh. "Ugh... Fine. Eidetic Erotics it is..." The next set of dice appeared in my hand and I tossed them out on the table.

The man rubbed his hands together again. "5 and 7, another fun pair!"

I let Katelyn read the captions while in my head I began debating the Thick and Thicc card versus the Special Lingerie card. Though Katelyn wasn't dumb now, I knew there were cards that could dumb her down to the point of barely functioning. On the other hand, the Special Lingerie card would require me to roll again and a couple of the options were less than appealing. "I'm thinking Special Lingerie, what are you thinking?" I asked Katelyn.

"I don't know. I mean would this do anything to me?" She pointed to the Thick and Thicc card. Hearing the man snicker behind me seemed to change Katelyn's mood. "Or maybe that's not a good idea...."

Not knowing if he was fucking with the two of us or not, I decided to just go with the Special Lingerie card. "That one." I said tapping it. Another 5 cards sprouted from the original card and I felt a pair of dice appear in my hand. "Here goes nothing..." I said rolling the dice onto the table. The dice both landed on 3's and the PushUp card slid forward. "I guess that's what I'll pick then..." The rest of the card disappeared and the Eidetic Erotics and Special Lingerie: PushUp cards moved to the center of the coffee table.

The Eidetic Erotics card lifted up and hovered in front of Katelyn and myself. "This was actually a pretty smart choice." The man said as the card drifted back to the pile.

"Do you feel any different?" I asked Katelyn.

"No..." She paused for a moment in thought. "No I feel fine..."

"Honestly it's not the worst card, though it will be a bit awkward when you end up masturbating and studying at the same time." The man grinned at Katelyn. "I mean who would bother studying the old-fashioned way with a gift like this." The man motioned for the Special Lingerie: PushUp card and it floated up in front of Katelyn and I. Hanging just long enough for the two of us to read the caption one more time, it floated over to the pile. "That's actually a fun card." The man said pointing at Katelyn's small breasts. I watched as they seemed to plump up slightly and lift up. Had she been wearing a V-neck shirt I am sure I would have been able to see a bit of cleavage.

"I guess it could be worse." Katelyn cupped her breasts and shrugged her shoulders. "The girls feel fine... Well other than my nips..."

"Okay... I guess this isn't so bad." I said looking back to the man. Another 9 cards shoot out from the deck and I felt a dice appear in my hand. "Alright.." I had just begun to lift my hand when suddenly I wasn't in my dorm room any more. I was in the middle of black nothingness.

"Adam." I spun around to see the man standing behind me. "You and me both know that this is going far better for you two than I had intended." I shook my head in agreeance. "But riddle me this. You turn Katelyn into a glorified fitness model. Then what? Why would she stay with you?"

"Shit..." I blurted out. He was right. The only reason she was so into me, was because she dumped her old boyfriend and no other guy would pay her any attention.

"I'm glad you agree with me." The man stepped to my side and tossed his arm around my shoulder. "You and I both know there are cards that will let you control her. And we are in the final round. Now maybe... Just maybe one of those cards will pop up in the bonus round, but there's no guarantee of that... So maybe consider your options before you start this round..."

Suddenly I was back in my dorm room sitting between Katelyn and the man. Glancing over at him he gave me a telling wink.
