End of the Weekend

"To bad we have to go to work tomorrow" Brendan moaned as his slipped off his t-shirt and started heading for bed. The return to normalcy had been comforting. They had chosen to have a lazy Sunday curled up on the couch after the excitement from his date. This power could be a lot of fun but the break had been exactly what he had needed. "What are you doing with that?" he said freezing as he entered his bedroom to see Amy holding the ray gun.

"Well while we haven't had any problems yet I'm going to have to interact with alot more people at work. Who knows if all the safeguards are enough? or if I missed something? Or if there is a timelimit!? We just don't know for sure so I figure we should hit the reverse button to take my powers away." She explained pointing the gun at herself.

"Well wait! We don't know if it only turns off one or it turns off both our powers." Brendan said stopping her. "Besides we should test how that works with our powers."

"What do you mean?"

"Well we know mine had my changes stay when you pressed it last time. And it was unusable for hours afterwards. Lets keep track of it this time."

"Ohhh!!! So lets see if my commands stay like your changes!" Amy now bounced with excitement. "I wonder if I put a trigger in again will it work after we turn off the powers?! Great idea Brendan! Come here and li--"

"HEYEYUEYU NOT YET!" Brendan shouted cutting her off. "Hold on now we should talk this out. Especially if I could be stuck with that change for a long time. Also last time I didn't interact with anyone when I was stuck as the.... you know.. anyway I was thinking that maybe the gun does something that makes people think that's the way it should be. Maybe it doesn't tho and if that's the case I don't want to be stuck "Boycrazy" forever."

"Yea I guess that's a good idea but it might be hard to determine that with my power. The best way to test that would be having you change somehow... hmmmm."

"That's the conclusion I came to as well. So any idea's for something I can hide or explain away?"
