Chapter 151

I... won?
Sure, Highroller.
I find myself in a refracted void; not the usual image that my part of the Seknium takes, but a change of scenery was refreshing at least. I try to stand, but find that it's hard to do so when no direction in particular is truly up, or down. The shards of reality then begin to shift, and bend.
I am in four places at once.
Hovering over my **** body; watching as a small Sammy places the Core of her sibling in her mouth.
Sitting in a dark basement, planning out my mission with my three favorites; drinking away the time.
Resting with a wonderful work of art in my mechanical arms; the last of her kind, and mother of our dearest child, so far away now.
Stewing in darkness; hating what I must become, and what I must do, in order to get what I am owed.
...
I see from his eyes as green fingers grip another mug; chugging its contents. "Ozzie, are you sure that was was him?"
".retsaM ,seY" Answers the Stitched Magician.
"And you Helen?" Urgog asks, pouring more from the table's keg into his mug. "You said the pretty boy seemed to be familiar with the food."
"Yes sir. I heard them talk about your Earth and everything." Says a woman, covered in bandages. "The little fairy with them seems to be from there too."
I could feel him crack a smile; as if his lips were my own. "Really? Hm... make them a higher priority capture than the rest of his gang, then. What about you, Oro. What do you think?"
The serpentine woman covered her cheeks, as they became just as scarlet as her scales. "There's no doubt in my mind. He is you; my dear husband."
"That settles it then... we make our move tomorrow, during the arrival of the Chosen..."
...
I see a bedroom, designed with such immaculate detail, that describing it would take months; Logic's new abode, no doubt. Wrapped in his mechanical arms is the nude form of Des; the Ancient Dungeon Core. I couldn't tell if it was night, or day...
"Loggy..." Says Des, half awake; nuzzling into his mechanical chest. "How do you think she's doing, back in Lunari..."
"My dear, our daughter is fine." L0G says, reassuringly. "Knowing her mother; she is probably heading the most dangerous dungeon in the continent already. She will be safe... safer than here, at least."
"It still pains me... She won't even know our faces." Laments the Dungeon Core; tears dropping from her perfect eyes.
L0G sighs.
"Carrie will be fine, my love..."
...
"I'm sick of it..." Says a voice; one I know all too well.
Damian Walker's face speaks into a mirror; standing just outside some sort of ballroom, with a familiar female companion just beside him. "The facade... the voices... the preaching. I just want it all to be over with already. I just want to find Her."
The shadows converge around him; forming that suit of pitch-black armor. "Even the name... I hate it. All for what? **** on that bastard..."
Piper stands in her newly made body, resting her hand on his shoulder. "You told me yourself during our training sessions. No matter what it is you must do, no matter how you must do it. Do it."
The helmet forms around Naimad.
"But how do you kill ****?"
...
All of these visions happen at once; filling my mind with purposes not entirely my own. The surge of pure mindless willpower forces my eyes to open within the waking world, as a bright, brilliant glow pours forth from my chest. One word comes to mind...
Enoch!
