Caught

A familiar glare greeted Naruto as he opened the door. At first he thought it was Hinata's father again here to chew him out some more. But instead it was someone he hadn't expected to see.

"Neji?"

"Hello, 'Sister' Hinata. May I come in?"

"U-Um, I suppose." replied Naruto hesitantly, not sure what his intention were.

The Hyūga boy quietly entered the room, it was only now that Naruto realized just how intimidating he was. Having his first experience with Byakugan just a few hours ago, he knew how difficult it was to pinpoint the chakra nodes in training. He could only imagine how hard it would be to do it in the middle of a battle. Plus, in this body Naruto wasn't sure he could take Neji on.

As Neji shut the door behind him, he produced a cylinder object from his side pocket which Naruto shiver in fear.

"I-I, uh," started Naruto. "I can explain!"

"There's no point in it, I kind of already figured out who you are. There was a little orange jumpsuit left with it along with the note, so there's no point in hiding it Naruto."

"Aw, crap," Naruto's head buzzed with ways to escape out of this one but with Neji having the air tank there was no way for him to get back to normal. "So I'm in trouble I take it?"

"Something like that..." Neji smiled in a sinister way. "If you want to get back to normal and escape without punishment from everyone, perhaps we can work out a sort of deal."

"A deal? What kind of deal?"

"Well...

Fishing for a Crush

All of a sudden, Neji's typical confident face was flustered with a deep scarlet hue. Unfortunately, Naruto was a little slow when it came to recognizing social cues and were merely annoyed with the slight pause in Neji's speech.

"Well, what?" he asked at last.

Neji averted his eyes. "W-Well, there are certain things you can't ask girls about...And seeing as you have Hinata's body, I-I was wondering if you could ask Tenten what she thought of me."

In that instant, a sly grin appeared on Naruto's (or rather, Hinata's) face. "Wait, a minute. You like Tenten, don't you?"

Neji completely looked in the other direction. "I don't know what you're talking about."

Naruto walked up to Neji from behind and said. "Oh, come on, man. You like her, admit it."

As Naruto raised his hand to slap Neji on the back, Neji's strong arm caught the disguised ninja's wrist. Naruto gave off a girlish squeal as the angry Hyuga squeezed harder.

"Not a word to anyone," warned Neji. "Do you understand?"

"Ow, alright! I get it! Let go!"

Neji huffed and released Naruto, leaving the Hinata-shaped ninja to comfort his now heavily bruised wrist. Naruto didn't think that a master of the so-called Gentle Fist technique would have such a powerful grip.

"It sickens me to think that I have to rely on a pervert like you," muttered Neji as he turned for the door. "But your situation grants me some leverage."

Neji held up both Naruto's old clothes and the air tank, grabbing Naruto's attention instantly.

"Give that stuff back!" yelled Naruto.

"Not so fun to be a girl all day, is it? It's disgusting to think you're in Lady Hinata's body, but I won't tell on you if you do what I request. Besides, it's the only way you're going to get back to normal."

Naruto was crestfallen. "You mean I'm stuck like this!?"

"Until you do what I ask. Should have thought about that before you messed with something like this."

Neji casually tossed the air tank into the air and caught it. "We're having a team meeting tomorrow before lunch. Approach Tenten afterwards."

And that was the last thing Neji said to Naruto as he slammed the door shut behind him. Naruto grunted and began to tend to his aching wrist. He had no idea how he had gotten himself into this mess, but there was going to be only one way out. He couldn't take Neji head on in a fight as Hinata, and the stoic ninja would probably spill the beans if he did.

"I've never even spoken to Tenten!" Naruto pounded Hinata's bed in anger.

Regardless of how unfair the situation was, Naruto was at a huge disadvantage with how to approach Neji's crush. He was good at pranks, not socializing with people. Let alone girls. He was going to have to think of something quick if he was going to get his body back.
