what now?
Thinking in the shower
there was something to be said about autumn mornings. for some reason, the way the sun rose, the way the light traveled through the branches and encompassed my world in an orange glow, it all felt alien, especially after last night. that clearing with the trees and the moss...the last dying breath of summer warmth on our naked bodies...It felt so real...and so good.
I stood up quickly and shook my head to get my mind straight, grabbing a change of clothes and hitting the shower. The shallow hiss of the running water helped bring me back to reality...somewhat. getting into the shower just provided further evidence that what I saw was real, I had caused a bit of a mess in my sleep, and in removing my top I found a line of nail scratches along my chest. I sighed as the mirror fogged up and I stepped into the shower. as the warm water fell over me I began to think about what to do.
as strange as that dream was, telling someone about it wouldnt be particularly helpful. I could try to track down that fairy's 'mistress', who is likely to be Sally, or I could call Dr. Cybil, tell her about the dream, and ask if I should see a psychiatrist.
I tossed around the idea in my head, basically the question im asking myself right now is whether or not I should beleive in magic. on the one hand, theres sally and...
a blush falls onto my face as I remember Pixie's last words...if they were accurate, this could be quite awkward. on the other hand, if I went to Dr. Cybil, I would have to explain to a doctors face that my life was saved by a magic fairy who gave me a handjob last night, and thats not a particularly fun idea either.
I finished rinsing up, turned the faucet off and dryed myself off as I shook my head and hoped I didnt regret my decision.
