The left path, with tattered cloth lining the walls

You chose the left path, and before long you had a sneaking suspicion about what kind of creatures lurked there. The tunnel was 'fortified' with small, sharp logs against the walls and what appeared to be crude banners.

"It's probably some kind of small-fry monster, like kobolds or goblins." You muse to yourself. It was normally a pretty fair assumption, both of them liked to live in caves and enjoyed similar styles of décor. While goblins were vicious and nasty, kobolds were much stronger on average. Then again, there were the freak mutations of goblins that appeared every once in a while that were much stronger than normal. As you think to yourself, you hear a noise from around an upcoming bend. Slowly you peek your head around the corner to see what made it. You spot a gate blocking the tunnel, with what appears to be two sleeping goblins guarding it. A few days ago a goblin camp would have made you laugh, but stuck in this place with no party, basically no gear, and seemingly no skills, it was a whole different story.
