Clipped Wings

As soon as the fight starts, Yulia casts blizzard and the effect is immediate as the birds struggle to fly and their ability to keep tabs on their prey is ruined by the sudden harsh storm. The relatively thin ground that forms the edge around the pit, doesn't allow for much maneuverability, but that doesn't end up being much of a problem since the group primarily just hold position. Goma puppets one bird into another bird, causing both to let out a surprised squawk before both falling from the skies into the water. Yulia takes out two more with a lightning Strike and an Icicle. The remaining two birds try to desperately dive bomb the group, but are met with Isalia and Cherchiel's shields and worse for the birds, their weapons. The last two birds are quickly dispatched and the fight is over.

"That was... Extremely easy," Yulia comments and the others nod.

Goma glances down the pit and then quickly starts to descend, "Goma scout!" she yells back to the others and Isalia moves to follow her, but by the time she's gotten down onto the second platform, the much more nimble Goma has disappeared into the darkness.

"Treasure!" Goma yells back after a bit and the rest of the group make the descent to go see.

At the bottom they find a sealed underwater cave and in the cave is a large bird's nest. In the nest there are a few objects, a pair of giant bird eggs, a bag made out of woven reeds with a bunch of sparkly seashells inside, about 30 and lastly a steel trident, haphazardly stuck partially into the side of the nest. They gather up the stuff and Yulia mildly wonders if they've killed all the birds or there are more to take care of these remaining eggs. She feels a bit bad about the idea she might have just orphaned some birds.

Regardless with the nest looted they struggle to climb back out, but eventually succeed. There's no way forward from the Nest, so they descend back down and arrive back at the island with the swimsuit shop. The Ruins or colourful island being their remaining choices forward. Yulia is a little surprised, but happy, to see that back at the nest, the two birds Goma took out, emerge from the water and return to the nest.
