SS(S)S - The Peachface Rises

You grab the robe and mask and put them on. The robe hinders your movement and the mask reduces situational awareness, but this look also has advantages.

You check the hall, then boldly sweep down to the room that you posted up in before. The girl who lives there can always come back, but you feel like the odds are in your favor.

With the Macbook seized and the contacts changed, you have tools. Now, all you have to do is figure out how to apply these tools to your mission: stopping Sal from extorting Athena. There isn’t time for a perfect plan. You’re in the field. The only thing to keep in mind is that unlike MSGV, you don’t have a magical helicopter to come to pick you up.

But you might be able to call for an extraction from CCL—if you achieve enough to justify the risk.

So far, you have achieved nothing beyond learning what you might have inferred from what you saw at the con. You own Sal’s more important devices and by extension, you have access to every detail of her life.

It occurs to you that you could try to reason with Sal in some way now that you have leverage… but that is not the approach of a person dressed as the Peachface who is trespassing and committing felony stealing. No. You aren’t going to reason with anyone. You’ll have to **** her.

Maybe you could come up with something better if you had more time, but from where you’re standing inside CGH House, there are two ways to proceed.

Sal has something on Athena. Athena is not going along with this because she wants to. For a moment, you entertained the idea that maybe there was some star-crossed romance going on. You don’t love Sal’s personality, but at least she’s physically attractive enough to be worthy of your Onee-Sama. The texts prove that is not it.

You can try to get something on Sal. Dirt on her would render her dirt on Athena irrelevant. Make her realize that being on the receiving end of this treatment isn’t any fun.

That could work.

Or it might be simpler to just try to make the most of the leverage that you already have: access to everything. You can wreak havoc on her personal business with the access that you’ve stolen. You also have her actual Macbook. You don’t know Sal’s finances, but the average person would want it back. More importantly, it’s likely that the convenience of having it back and not having to start from scratch on one’s entire digital existence outweighs the value of the computer. You can pressure Sal to drop whatever she’s doing against Athena in exchange for returning the keys to her digital life.

This is getting heavy, but to be fair, CCL girls aren’t exactly known for being ‘nice.’
