The Lover's Truce

It had been several days on the march since you had spoken with Veserae. Your mood had elevated somewhat since than, the spirits of the troops helping as well. They are all well trained, and most of them are welcoming of you and your friends, so long as you stay out of the way. It was certainly different than you had anticipated seeing a marching front would look or feel like, though you remind yourself that there probably isn't another army in all of T'sara like this one, with it's norms and beliefs, and size. This becomes especially prominent one afternoon as you watch one of the light cavalry squads return, and see a knight immediately depart her horse and run to find her husband. As the two hug, and slowly begin to kiss one another, it finally dawns on you how you might be able to prevent the conflict before it starts.

"Grand Aluf Adranna!" You call out, hoping to quickly find the leader of the military mages. You find her, predictably, at a makeshift desk, curled over documents and tomes, studying them intensely. It's only through repeated calls that her gaze breaks, leading her to respond fiercely in protest.

"What! Fiana?" She slammed her open hand on the table, angrily "Can it not wait!?"

"My apologies Grand Aluf, but it's important."

"What I am doing now is important. Our scouts are saying that there's a formidable size approaching, and we have to be ready."

"What if I told you I knew of a way to end this all without bloodshed?"

"I'd say you were crazy, but from what you've told me of your adventures so far, the crazy seems to be fairly routine for you. Carry on."

"You and your wizards can amplify sound, yes? Including Music?"

"Of course. We use it at times to amplify the horns or other instruments used to convey orders across battle. Why?"

"Because I believe with the right song, we will completely eliminate the desire to fight, at least temporarily."

"And what happens when 'temporarily' runs out?" Adranna asked, now holding her head with her hand, her elbow propped up on the table

"We'll see. If we're exceptionally lucky, this all comes to an end now."

"You know we can't get that lucky Fiana. The Sovereign General's daughter is still captive, and he's not going to stop until he gets her back."

"Nooooo" You say as a thought runs through your mind "but it may shift our hand. Vyrmar likely isn't going to be in the battle, they wouldn't trust him enough to do that, but he'll certainly be watching. If his plan's ruined, he'll feel aggravated and become personally involved, and from there, we can have him."

"I can't argue with that." Adranna paused for a moment, looking back over her scrolls and papers, and let out a large sigh "If this doesn't work elf, being mocked and demoted will be the least of my concerns."

"Fear not. If we have faith in Veserae, this will work."

She laughed slightly "Very well. Pray for the both of us than."

You make your way out of the tent, and turn briefly "Adranna? Tell your wizards to think of their greatest fantasy, it may help"

The grand mage laughed louder this time "Okay Fiana, if you say so." She rises to her feet "looks like I have work to do"

A few minutes later, horns start going off, causing the camp to come alive and everyone to spring into ranks and formation. The battle was about to begin. Fear trembles up your spine, realizing how dangerous the situation could be. You stand with Bruce and the Dowton's and looking at them, are confided in your plight. You know what needs to be done, and are sure your strategy will work.

"Well, Bruce" James began "looks like today's the day you get to see your family again"

"Oh hush" You pipe in "This will be fine. You want to see Thorina again, right?"

"More than anything" he replies

"Than think about her, and keep moving forward. Everything will work out"

The forces begin marching, and you take a deep breath. You begin to sing the melody of Veserae, catching strange glances from the soldiers, but nobody tells you to stop. Not that you would, had they done so. It takes some time before it's picked up over the sound of marching feet, but Adranna eventually hears it, and begins to order her wizards to communally amplify the sound. Before too long, the sound fills the valley, and you're sure that even the Grushta can hear the sound. You see from glancing eyes that it's taking effect, but the men and women are unsure what to do about it. The distance between oppossing armies closes swiftly, but neither side makes a **** march towards the other, even at the end. The marching comes to an end, not with the sound of sword against sword, but with gentle handshakes, hugging, even laughter.

Moving out of the formation, you race forward to see what happens next. It takes a moment, but you see a Vilory Officer, a tall gangly woman make a move on the Grushta; one of their women, by pulling them in close and starting to peck each other on the lips. Having been seen by both sides, actions moved swiftly. Everyone found a partner of their choosing, and often several, and began engaging in slight acts of passion. Without a partner, yet, you strip your clothes off eagerly, knowing that you're in a for an adventure. The last thing you see before being pulled in is the Sovereign General himself being undressed by three young women, all already naked, kissing various parts of his body as they go.

In a blur, you're pushed to your knees by a stranger, and have a cock shoved deep in your mouth. You giggle as you try to please this man, happy that this taken place, and that you may take part in such historic revelry. The head pokes the back of your throat in a pleasing way, and you stroke the shaft to match his **** movements on you. You smiled to yourself before finding a new lover as well, seeing that your plan succeeded.
