John introduces himself

As John approached the group in the kitchen, he felt his nerves start to get the best of him. He took a deep breath and tried to remind himself that everyone was in the same boat – they were all just starting university and trying to make new friends.

"Hi, I'm John," he said, forcing a smile. "I'm just moving in."

The group of students greeted him warmly and introduced themselves. John learned that they were all in the same major and lived on the same floor. They asked him questions about where he was from and what brought him to the university, and John found himself starting to relax a little.

After chatting with his new roommates for a bit, John decided to explore the rest of the dorms. He walked around the common areas, checking out the TV room, the study lounge, and the outdoor courtyard. He was impressed by how nice and well-maintained everything was.

Eventually, John made his way back to his room. He was tired from the long drive and the excitement of the day, so he decided to take a quick nap before the welcome week activities started later that evening.

As he lay down on his bed, John couldn't help but think about how much his life had changed in just a few short weeks. He was excited to see what the next four years had in store for him, but he knew that it wouldn't always be easy. He was still struggling with his own identity and wasn't sure if or when he would be ready to come out to anyone. But for now, he was just grateful to have a roof over his head and a chance to start fresh.
