Chapter 25 by DrRyuku

Do they take the offer?

Duh.

You and Skye look at each in surprise. 700 PD is a lot of money! For trainers with no badges, the win reward is only 150 PD. This is almost five times that, and will pretty much cover you for at least a few weeks. But at the same time, at least one of you would have to wait 5-6 hours for their Pokémon to heal up again, and by then it would be too late in the day to go to Viridian Forest. The lobby goes silent as everyone looks to see you and Skye's reaction to the offer. Vivian looks smug with her arms crossed below her sizable chest, pushing her boobs up even more.

"That's a lot of money..." Skye says with a gulp. You don't know her financial situation, but 700 PD would have you sitting pretty until you beat Brock. Especially since you have to buy new clothes, buy supplies, and some potions (you especially wanted to buy antidotes to help against bug types), and all of those would cut into your funds. Your mom hadn't given you a ton of money, but it was more than enough to survive until you could hold your own.

"Well? I don't have all day." Vivian says with a cocky smile. You look at Skye, whose emotions war across her face. Pragmatism versus pride. 700 PD is game-changing money this early, allowing her to avoid humiliating forfeits by negotiating, buying potions to keep her Pokémon healthy, and otherwise sustaining her perilous journey. But her Pidgey is far lower level than your Charmander, and with you having Ember available, she no longer has aerial safety. The matchup is entirely in your favour, and she knows that. But 700 PD...

She comes to a decision and nods at you, ready to fight. "We accept your proposal." She says confidently to Vivian, who claps her hands in delight. She beckons to the two of you and you follow her deeper into the Pokécenter. Viridian city Pokécenter was the only one to have dedicated practice areas, which you always wanted to see. Your group enters the elevator and goes down to the Practice floor, around 300 feet underground. The elevator is fast, and within 30 seconds you reach your destination. You follow Vivian through winding hallways, all exotically decorated. The warm oak floors gleam under the light of the rustic-looking braziers, and you admire the paintings on the wall. There's one of a Charizard battling an Arcanine, the dragon mid-flight and breathing a plume of flame at the nimble canine. And again, there isn't a soul to be seen. Daisy and Rose's pumps clack loudly against the floor, the sound eerily echoing through the air, but Vivian walks silently like a ninja, not a whisper of sound from her ridiculous heels. Finally, you reach the practice area. The doors slide open automatically, and you take in the wide open field with starry eyes.

This practice area is a marvel of technology. The kilometres-long field stretches as far as the eye can see. A dozen different environments can be seen, from open grassy plains to fiery magma fields. The waves of an artificial ocean crash into a beach further down and flashes of lightning followed by the faint sound of thunder can be seen and heard far away. This wonder of science was built for one purpose: to practice Pokémon battles. But with a few tweaks of the console it could be customized to be any arena you wish. Vivian expertly modifies the area, setting up some walls to sequester a smaller field for the two of you, and leads you into the little room she's created. There would be no environmental advantage for either of you here since it's just a grassy field. Daisy and Rose stand back a safe distance, and Vivian gets busy instructing her camerawoman, giving you some time to talk to Skye. It's almost a guaranteed win for you, and Vivian would most likely demand a sexual forfeit for the video. You pull Skye to the side and look at her nervously.

"So Skye... What level is your Pidgey?"

"Level 4," She sighs, "I know this is going to be a one-sided battle. And she's gonna make you fuck me. But 700 PD is 700 PD. It's half the money I have right now."

"Yeah, it is a lot of money, and about the sex... I'm kind of gonna... I'll..." You struggle to get the words out. Everyone expects you to take what you want, and that's what you'll do. But Skye's nice! She's your friend and just like Blue, you want her to feel good after the forfeit. But if you do that, your mom would give you an ass reaming worse than what Bugman did to Skye, and worst of all, it would hurt your future. And Skye knows that too. She reaches up to touch your cheek and gives you a sad smile.

"You'll fuck me as if I mean nothing to you. I know Indy. I'll be okay, I've dealt with worse, and you're not the type to pump and dump a girl." Skye says and gets a thoughtful look on her face. She continues with a flirty smile, "Just buy me dinner after our battle and we can call it even."

"Deal." You reply and kiss her forehead.

"Alright, alright. I get that you two are lovebirds, but the people don't want to watch a sappy love story." Vivian interrupts the two of you by clapping loudly, "You, Indie or whatever your name is, if you win, I expect to see you go to town on her defenseless body. And you, if he wins, you better be a broken fucking mess after he's done. Put some oomph into the forfeit! She lost the fucking battle, this isn't a reward for her! Now, are the two of you ready?"

"Wait. You said we'd get 700 PD if we fought. I want half now and half after." Skye demands.

"You don't trust me?" Vivian says, affronted by the request.

"Lady, I just met you and you practically shoved your boobs into Indy's face. Half up front, half after the battle."

"Heh, you think I was born yesterday? 350 PD equals more than two wins for you. I'll give you 150 upfront, the rest after."

"Deal."

"Jeez, when did kids get so mercenary? In my day, we trusted our adults..." She groans but clicks a few buttons on her phone, and both you and Skye's Pokédexes beep. You see a deposit of 150 PD has been made to your account.

"Thank you~" Skye sings in a sugary tone and nods at you. You nod back, and both of you walk to opposite sides of the field.

"I'm going to count down now, and on go, both of you call out your starters. May the best trainer win."

To the 4 people who always comment on my chapters. Thank you <3

I was pretty busy over winter break and didn't really read anything. Now I'm like 30 chapters behind on all of your stories :(
