He then staggered to his room. He almost tripped on the stairs but managed to hold on to the railing at the last moment.

"Oh watch out, do you need help maybe?" you ask, ready to help him.

"Shut up I ~ hiek ~ know what I'm ~ hiek ~ doing."

You hear him cursing as he stomps toward his room. Then a loud slam of a door. Then silence.

With that, your last guest is served. You turn out the lights and head up the stairs when you too almost fall. You have stumbled over something. You bend down and pick it up. It's the purse of the unfriendly businessman. He must have dropped it earlier.

It feels wrong, but you open it to see how much he has on him. You count 80 gold coins.

"Not bad," you think.
