Claire gets an idea

Thinking about her escape, her mind wondersed off to what Owen would do. Claire remembered when Owen came into the Command Centre stinking of car oil and diesel. His reasoning was to hide from the Indominus by covering his scent. Was that how the Baryonyx was still chasing her even in this collapsing maze? It had to be following her scent! There was no point in hiding in the crack, it would just sniff her out. She had no way to hide her scent. No deiseal or oil in sight. However, Claire had a plan. What if she could trick the Baryonyx by putting too much of her scent in one place? Leave something reeking of her scent near the entrance of the right hallway and trick it into thinking she had gone down that way while she hides in the gap!

Claire heard the Baryonyx roar echo through the building. It rattled the walls and vibrated the floor. It was close, she needed to act fast!
