Run to the Doorway

Claire’s flight response kicked in and she bolted to the doorway. There was no way a fucking rock would stop that thing from eating her!

She ran through it with the Baryonyx hot on her heels. Unfortunately, the Baryonyx could fit under the doorway, but it had lost a good percentage of speed now crawling through the hallway after Claire. Claire continued to run as fast as her legs could take her. Despite the hindrance to its speed, the Baryonyx was gaining on her. Claire followed the hallway, looking desperately for a smaller doorway or a hole in the wall to crawl into and hide. Turning a corner, she saw her salvation before her. It was a small human-sized doorway surrounded by a sturdy wall. there was no way the Baryonyx could burst through and follow her! The only issue was the closed door blocking it. Despite the rotten wood and warped metal, the door looked strong and unbreakable.
