The adventurers and intel

He puzzled. The obvious answer would be to get some dryad ass, but there would be a limit to that even if he did give her the mark of submission since he didnt plan on regularly coming back to this forest. But...

"The ranger wasnt alone. She had 3 friends as well. I want them."

Nalar seemed to give a sigh. She must have thought he would ask for her body as well. She nodded.

"I'll send some creatures back to look for them. They are probably restrained by the local fauna. I dont really interfere with much of what they do. However, I will wait to turn them over until after our deal is complete."

Fuck. He really could have used something to take the edge off his libido right about now. But he nodded. Both of them were playing like they would walk away if things went bad but the deal was too important.

"Finally, i really need intel. This world is new to me and i don't know much about where the forces of light and darkness are in this region."

Nalar shrugged. "Unfortunately I dont know much beyond the scope of my forest but a band of merchants were captured recently by my pets. Apparently that human settlement that you were told about is called castle Dunkart and it is besieged by the forces of darkness currently. They thought to get around the forces of darkness by cutting through my woods."

"I dont suppose I can talk to these merchants?"

She shook her head. "They were all older so they are food for the creatures now. But based on what they said and where they entered, the forces of darkness should be northeast of here just past the woods."

Midnight nodded. At least now he had basic info on how to proceed. Within two days, if everything went to plan, that self-righteous fuckass Ariel would be out of his hair and he would even have secured the redhead. All in all, securing slaves and taking down a angel was an excellent start to his adventure. Startled out of his reverie, by the warmth of the sun, Midnight realized he and Nalar had been talking through the night and the sun was rising into the clearing.
