Something crazy

"Aspiro" Ethan chanted as he took a deep breath and blew with all his might. The book flew right out of Elenor's hands as she tried to brace herself from his attack. Her eyes widened as she realized she had lost the book. She turned to see where it had gone, only for Ethan to use another spell.

"Sugere" Ethan whispered and then he took a deep breath only this time rather than blowing anything, he pulled everything towards him. The book came flying back and hit Elenor right in her face before he pulled it towards himself with another inhale. He had managed to catch it in time and open it. He had one chance to get out of this and it was now or never.

"You are so insufferable." Elenor growled as she turned to face him. Her body was trembling, not used to the chilling wind that he had kicked up. She lunged at him upon seeing him hold the book. She couldn't let him figure out how to undo the spell.

Ethan held the book in one hand before he focused on the other. He needed a little more time. Lucky for him, she had all eyes on his hand. "Micare" He called and an explosion of light erupted from his fingers. It wasn't a special attack or anything like that, no offensive or defensive abilities. It was just a really bright and blinding light.

"Gah!" Elenor winced as she was blinded by the flash. She had been caught off guard mid lunge and had crashed right into the wall next to him. She was still disoriented and that was all Ethan needed as he delivered a kick to her exposed body and sent her flying back.

"Alright let's see here, body double, body modify, body morph, body shrink." He read quickly as he skimmed the spells, before he lightened up. "Bingo." He thought as he found the spell. He looked it over, memorizing the words and instructions.

"You know, I'm impressed. I didn't think you'd actually hit me." Elenor scoffed as turned and tried once more. This time she was slower, stalking her prey in a sense as she took up a knife. "I thought you'd be too afraid to harm your precious little Azar."

"Oh please, you call that harm? The real Azar would have been more annoyed than angered by those novice tricks." He told her.

"Well then how about this trick." Elenor roared as she prepared to stab him with the knife.

"Corpus Verto!" Ethan screamed as a dark ray shot out of his body. Elenor didn't have time to react as she was caught in the ray's path. The two of humans froze as the ray turned solid for a moment between them, before a white light erupted and engulfed the two of them.

When the light died down, all that was left was a slumped over 'Ethan' still chained to the fall and 'Azar' kneeling on the ground. 'Azar' stood up looking herself over quickly, feeling her hair before turning to Ethan who was just coming too. She quickly grabbed the book and flung it to the other side of the room before turning to face 'Ethan'.

"Ethan...is that you?" 'Azar' asked worriedly at the restrained mage.

"Yes." 'Ethan' answered.

"Good." 'Azar' answered before her lips curled into a scowl. She then hit him on the head, knocking him down for the count. "Liar." 'Azar' whispered to herself as she watched 'Ethan' collapse against the wall.

'Azar' quickly made her way over to the discarded clothes and book, grabbing them and then leaving the room.
