Before Ed could speak Cory pushed and screamed at Idris "what the actual fuck!"

Idris grunted as he gave the blonde beneath him another pump "What? Are you jealous?"

"Do you have an actual mental illness?" Cory demanded the of her dead friends lover who was currently ploughing another woman in her friends bed a month after her accidental passing "Is this how you were with Holly? I thought you weren't so bad but now I don't know what the fuck she saw in you"

Ed sighed "come on, let's go" and left the room with Cory. As they closed the door the sounds of Idris and the blondes laughter filled the air.

They went downstairs to the kitchen and sat down together trying to ignore the theatrical sounds of passion from upstairs. Ed held his head in his hands as he thought.

"What are we going to do?" Cory asked.

Ed shrugged, "if he doesn't leave then I'll call the cops. I don't know what rights he thinks he has but this house was left to me by my parents. Debts and all. I'm not going to be **** out of my family home by the banks or a stray my mom picked up."

Cory laughed gently "he's certainly a stray".

Ed frowned "I don't suppose it matters now but I hope he did actually treat my mom as a person".

Cory held Ed's hand "She was blinded by the attention. After your father died she dedicated her life to raising you." she sighed "you can't begrudge her moments of happiness". The blonde woman shrugged "its not as though someone like Idris could have a long term relationship. A guy like that just a parasite who wants to fuck the world. He doesn't want to build anything, not a career, not a family and not a stable life. For some guys it's all about the thrill of the hunt."

She looked into Ed's eyes "I guess the question is what kind of man you will become".

Ed smiled and started dialling into his phone "The sort of guy who is going to get the cops to get that parasite out of my home, then I'm going to burn that mattress and all the bedsheets".

Cory grinned back.
