Party time

You spend most of the day after the meeting handing the boring but necessary parts of command. You meet with Grant to discuss supply and logistics, and to go over the map to understand his plan of advance. You go around the camp, checking in on the wounded and ensuring things are going smoothly.

Throughout the day, you only see Alex once, when she bounces up to whisper in Ferra’s ear. The golem girl simply nods, and Alex flashes a grin before giggling and skipping away. You glance at Ferra, who shrugs. You chuckle and shake your head, knowing that whatever the energetic solar elemental is planning, it’s sure to be entertaining at the least.

As the sun begins to dip in the sky, you wrap up the work you’re doing, and make your way back towards your tents. Ferra, however, has a different plan. Taking your hand, she pulls you towards town, ignoring your questions. Instead, she simply smiles at you, which is enough for you to go along.

She pulls you towards Addie’s inn, and you see through the windows that there’s light inside, though the curtains are drawn. Following the golem girl, you head for the door. Ferra opens it for you, and you head inside.

You stop short when you walk in. First off, all the girls are here, even Brianna. They’re all smiling as you step inside, and Alex is clapping excitedly. That’s not the only thing that is unusual, though. All of the tables that usually occupy the space are pushed off to one side, and loaded with food and drinks. On the other side of the room are a couple large beds, big enough for several people.

You look at Alex, who is grinning broadly, and you chuckle. “So, this is your big party? Somehow I’m not surprised…”

She giggles. “You know me so well, my bondmate! We’re gonna have so much fun tonight!”

The other girls laugh, and you smile and shake your head. “Well, I don’t think I’ll be complaining.”

Sarah, who already has a drink in hand, is eyeing up Brianna. “After all, we need to break in the new girl, right?”

Brianna, also drinking already, grins back at the hellhound. “I like the sound of being broken in. I hope someone brought some rope….”

Melora laughs. “Plenty of time for that, but first, I think we should eat and drink a bit.”

Beside her, Nadia nods in agreement. “Definitely. Let things progress naturally, it’s more fun that way!”

Cassie giggles, her colors bright pinks and yellows. “There’s fun, and then there’s fun…and I think we’ll have both tonight!”

In your head, Lilith chuckles. I was going to ask for some extra energy for tomorrow, but it sounds like there will be plenty. I just wish I could take a more active role…

Ferra squeezes your hand, looking up at you. “Let’s have a good night, master. We could all use it.”

You smile at Ferra. Trust the plain speaking golem girl to sum it up in so few words. You head over to the tables and get a drink, as the girls all begin chatting. Soon, everyone has drinks and food, and despite the obvious glances towards the beds, no one starts anything sexual. Yet.
