He explains her part on the deal

Alexandra tries to pull herself together after the massive orgasm, but it's difficult. She feels exhausted, weak, and confused. It is almost impossible to concentrate.

Alexandra takes the book, Angela Silver lent her last month. That woman wasn't very helpful tough, she just answered a few questions and hand her the ritual book. Alexandra doubts Angela would be of any use to her.

With difficulties thinking straight she averts her eyes from Hekyr's stunning body, her mind is focused on the task at hand and not on the demon's erotic appeal. Alexandra looks through the windows and thinks about the possibilities to thrive.
