A new mechanic is discovered.

Another few days have passed since you first saw the village. You managed to find an elderly woman named Una, who had a spare room you could pay for. She has been helping you alot, due to your very pregnant state, as it has gotten harder and harder to move around in the last two days. She makes you food and has even given you some spare clothes to wear.

Finally the day has come, as you once again inspect your very large belly, you see the bar fill to 100%.

As you sit in the livingroom, looking at your status, you are interrupted by Una who walks in with two cups of tea, setting them on the table in front of you and sits down. She gives you a heartwarming smile that only a caring grandmother could give and puts her hands gently on your belly. "So close now, aren't you deary?" she asks in her soft elder voice.

You give her a smile and nod.

She looks back up into your eyes and puts a warm hand on your cheek. "Don't worry, I'll be right here with you when it happens."

"Shouldn't we get a bed ready then, maybe warm some water and towels and stuff like that?" You ask her, trying to remember what you actually know about birth.

She looks at you with a bit of confusion. "What do you mean deary? Do you want a shower first?" She reaches for her cup of tea and slurps it, setting it back down while smacking her lips.

"I-Isn't it going to be messy?" You ask her, even more confused than she seemed to be.

She chuckle softly which changes into a slight cough. "No no no deary. Has nobody told you how this works?", she waits for your reponse, but when all she sees is confusion painted on your face, she clears her throat and start to explain.

"When it is time, the goddess casts her blessing on your belly and gently removes the child through her divine light. Then she will ask you for it's name to complete the connection between it and this world."

She takes another sip of her tea, explaining this like it's something everybody knows. However, this is so far from how you remember being taught it in the other world. Yet, you can't seem to actually recall having seen how it works in the other world. Your focus returns to Una and you give her a nod to signal that you are listening.

Una continues to speak. "Then the goddess restores your body to how it was before and gives you a very important choice, which I will not tell you about, I wan't you to have it as a surprise." She chuckle sweetly as takes another sip of her tea.

You both sit in the livingroom, sipping on your tea and having some small-talk to pass the time.

Suddenly you feel your pregnant belly getting warm and from under your clothes it begins to give off a slight shining light. This light gets stronger and stronger as small sparkling lights begins to surround you. You quickly stand up from your chair and takes a few steps into the middle of the room to get some space around you.

Una chuckles and holds her hands over her heart in delight. "Oh deary, it is time. Another wonderful blessing on this house."

As the light gets even stronger and the small sparkling lights gets even more numerous, you vision is completely blocked by it. However, before your eyes pops-up a box of text and an input promt.

It takes you a few minutes to find a name, having given it no thought before now. You take a deep breath and say "Kurt!"

The box then closes and is replaced by another.

The goddess rapidly ages your spawn into adulthood if chosen.

It takes you almost no time to decide, not wanting to spend the next 18 years stuck in this small village, raising a child. You press Yes and the box dissapears.

In a burst of even more blinding light, the glow from your belly and the sparkling lights explodes and then slowly float to the ground like sparklers and dissapearing when they hit the ground.

You look to Una who is rubbing her eyes, yet sits with the biggest and warmest smile you have ever seen. You then look down at your body.

You no longer have the look of a pregnant woman. You run your hands over your tummy and only feel your rock-hard abs. Feeling the rest of your body, it would seem it has returned to how it was before, now looking and feeling more powerful and fearsome, like a raving warrior, instead of a soon to be mother.

You walk over to the table where Una is sitting, feeling quite thirsty you empty the rest of your tea in one gulp and put the cup down. "So... What happens now?"

Una chuckles again as she continues to rub her eyes. "Just give it a second and the goddess will show you."
