You follow the thorns.

You have scouted the woods for hours, following the trees with thornbushes around them, however, not a single track has been found or sound heard, other than the ones from the local fauna. You are on the verge of giving up your search and anger towards the bandit who lied to you starts to well up inside.

However, your thoughts are interrupted by Gibbi's high-pitched voice calling for you. "Edgar! Me find something! Come look see." She is standing a by a tree a few meters away from you, waving you over.

When you get there, you see that she has found some footprints leading away from the cluster of thornbushes and further into the woods. You give Gibbi a pat on the head and she squeeks in delight.

You all follow the footprints for another hour. As night begins and darkness fall, the search takes a turn in your favor as you see light from fires not too far away.

You get closer and stop to hide in a nearby thicket. Gibbi and Ella sneak up close behind you, hiding themselves in bushes.

Looking out of the thicket, you see a camp surrounded by a wooden wall, standing at 1.5 meters tall. You are still able to look over it's being taller when you stand up.

Behind the wall, you see quite a few tents in various sizes. There are campfires scattered here and there, some are being used to make food, others are just there to bring some light into the camp. There are two wooden houses, a small one with alot of crates, barrels and sacks around it. You figure that it is being used as a storehouse.

The other house is much larger, being two stories tall and big enough to house several families. You point to it and whisper to your companions. "There, the big house... My guess is that this Caleb guy is in there." The two nod in agreement.

Looking over the camp, you count atleast 20 people who are awake and on guard.
