Smiling

Heading into the building and head to English class. Seems more calm today than past few days as things get back to normal. Which is a good thing. Usually during school events and holidays it takes a couple days for things to settle down afterwards. Tomorrow will probably be better as everyone is getting ready for the weekend. But let’s worry about one day at a time.

Getting close to the classroom I see Susan talking to Becky as usual. “Morning “ I say as I approach both of them. “Morning “ Becky says “morning “ Susan says while yawning. “Tired today?” I ask “was up a bit later than I wanted “ Susan says “oh?” I say “don’t get me wrong as I slept great with Penny and Melanie but just not that many hours is all “ Susan says. Which I just give a naughty smile. “Well just don’t over do it” Becky says also with a naughty smile. “Well I’m taking it easy but just something clicks between me and Penny “ Susan says “could it be love” Becky says flashing her eyes. “Maybe “ Susan says kind of blushing “wouldn’t mind having you as a sister in law “ I say smiling “might be too early for that right now “Susan says blushing “ah so it could be love “ I say playfully poking her while giggling a little “maybe “ Susan says blushing while also giggling a little. “Make sure you invite me to the wedding “ Becky says joining in the fun. “Already on the top ten on the list “ Susan says “oh so your already planning it” I say smiling looking at her “well yes and no “ Susan says “knew it” Becky says. The three of us just start giggling. A couple minutes later *ding Dong * the warning bell goes off. “Well we better get to class” I say “ok” Becky and Susan say. The three of us head into the classroom and take our seats.

As I sit down I notice I have a envelope on my desk with my name and the school label on it. Strange as I just sent in that letter from yesterday so a bit early for a response from that. So what could this be. Looking at the clock and still have a couple minutes. Opening it “Ms Cindy Tyler Sorenson as a vote from the teachers and staff of the high school from review of the Dare Monday event which included the Friday preview we ask that you wear only body paint this Friday. Which shoes and jewelry are ok to wear but no other clothing. “ it says. This letter is signed by all my teachers as well as the principal and vice principal. Wow. Wasn’t expecting this. Wonder why they are doing this and all my teachers signed it too including mr Harley. Thinking “I think I still have some body paint at home that I can use but might order some more just in case as that’s been sitting around for a couple months “ I say in my mind.

Just then the bell rings and class starts. Put the letter and envelope in my purse bag for now as I get my tablet and other stuff for today lesson as Mr Smith starts telling the class what is happening today. Class goes smooth and no problem. Towards end of class I put everything back into my purse bag and get ready for the bell to ring. Put the strap of the purse bag on my shoulder and when the bell rings I get up and head out of the classroom and head down to hall towards art class.
