Clubbing

“Come on, Nick. There is a club we frequent a few blocks away.”

You slip back into your clothes and follow Lydia. You feel light on your feet and you effortlessly glide down the corridor. The elevator is empty and you realize it is after hours.

You follow a Lydia out into the night. You find the darkness refreshing. The cold in the air doesn’t bother you at all and you can see as if it were day.

Up ahead you see the neon lights of the club. Lydia taps you on the shoulder.

“We will feed here, but no killing.”

You nod.

Lydia cuts the line and you follow. She smiles at the six foot two, burly, African American bouncer and he nods letting you pass.

You enter the club. It is dark, but you can see fine. You smell the scent of sweat, urine, and sex. The music is loud and has a techno beat.

Lydia leans in and says. “Find one you want.”

You sniff the air. Not far away, a short, slightly pudgy blond, gyrates to the music. She smells delicious. You stroll toward her. You eyes meet and you grin at her. You reach her and take her hand.

“Come, I want you.”

She nods and you lead her back into the club. You find a quiet corner. You mold your body against hers and feel her beating heart. You kiss her beckoning lips. You move from her lips to her neck. You feel her heart racing.

Your canines grow long and you feel an intense thirst. You sink your fangs into her flesh and her blood flows into you.

The taste is incredible. It’s better than any food you’ve ever had. The feeling is even better. You feel more alive now than you’ve ever been. You’re never going to get tired of this.

You feel sharp fingers tap your shoulder.

“Don’t kill her.”

You sigh and release her.

“Excellent discipline, Nick. I knew you’d be a good addition to legal. Now roll her and leave her with a good night.”

You look her in the eyes. “You had a great night. You got really drunk and enjoyed yourself.”

She takes in everything you say and nods. You feel a strange connection with her.

“She is food now. You’ll be able to call her to you, whenever you desire. Give her a drop of your blood and she’d be your thrall. Give her more and drain her to **** and she would become one of us.”

You nod.

Lydia’s sharp black fingernail teases your chest.

“Now for some more fun.”
