Uh Oh Or Maybe Not

Suddenly John was startled by a shriek from behind him. John slowly tuned around first seeing a small brown chihuahua then a middle aged woman. The woman had a shocked and disgusted face. John knew this woman. Except he didn’t expect to get a shot at her so soon.

The woman in question was Leslie Anderson she was Culver’s mother and also the head chairwoman for the neighbourhood watch. She also used to babysit John when he was little. John tightened his grip and focused on the ring “You just witnessed me save Harper from being **** by your son Culver. You’ve just decided that he is untrustworthy and you can no longer condone his actions. When you babysat me you always thought of me as a second son.”

Leslie’s mind seemed to process things as life returned to her. She quickly ran over to Harper “Harper! I can’t believe my baby boy would try to do something like that to you! No he’s not my son anymore I’m disowning him!” She brought Harper in for a big hug and she kissed the top of Harper’s head. “Everything is going to be okay now honey me and my ‘real’ son are here for you. John please help Harper with her pants.” She pointed to where the bloomers layed like two feet away.

John saw Harper’s face which had a looked of deep confusion on it. She just looked at John as he put her bloomers back on. She opened her mouth to say something and John mouthed, “Just go with it or I’ll leave you permanently.”

Harper turned on the water works “Miss Anderson I was so scared!” She started crying and sobbing into Leslie’s Blouse.

Leslie looked at John “I’m so glad you were here to stop Culver. He won’t be living under my roof anymore after his actions. I’m glad I have at least one good son even if you aren’t biological I still love you as such. And if you ever need a place to stay I guess I’ll have an extra room since Culver’s will be vacant.”

Hook, line and sinker just as John wanted it. Culver is going to lose everything just as John had. John’s grudge against Culver dates back to when Leslie would babysit John. Culver would always come over and break or steal toys. Whenever John would try to get payback Culver would turn it around on John somehow.

Culver also pushed for John’s sister’s to be mean to him and fed their ego. All in all Culver was a root to evil in John’s mind.
