Confronted by a reporter

Just as Shepard stepped out of the elevator naked, she was met with a familiar reporter and her floating camera drone. “Commander Shepard, Khalisah Bint Sinan al-Jilani, Westerlund news. I have several questions to ask you.”

Shepard’s eyes twitched and her face turned red as she was caught off guard by Khalisah. “What do you want to know?”

“With the latest news about these new clones arising, is there any proof that you are indeed the real Commander Shepard? How do we know that you’re not a clone,” Khalisah asked.

“I guess technically speaking you don’t,” Shepard said. “But I can assure you I’m the genuine artifact.”

“Are there any features on your body that would prove to everyone watching that you are the real Commander Shepard?” Khalisah asked.

Shepard blushed. “Uh… I think that knowledge is… too personal to disclose. Besides, if I were to say that wouldn’t the clone just find a way to copy me?”

“But if you have a birth defect that the clone wouldn’t have, that would be much harder to fake,” Khalisah said.

Shepard sighed.
