Crobat and Forretress

You stand, still unseen, watching the two women as they begin their battle. You could probably reveal yourself, but watching like this is kind of exciting. Also, you might distract them, so it’s best if you just stay here.

“Crobat.” Silver’s four-winged purple bat emerges from its ball, flitting about at high speed.

“Forretress, go!” Bugsy sends out the large, spherical bug and steel type as her lead.

So, these are their starting choices. Silver probably went with Crobat to take advantage of its flying type’s superiority over bugs. It looks like Bugsy anticipated this though, so she led with a Pokémon that isn’t weak to flying. Already, mind games are at play.

The quieter girl seems unconcerned, however. “Use Fly.” The Crobat rockets up into the sky, faster than anything you’ve ever seen, then just as swiftly begins diving back down to strike its target.

“Use Spikes, Forretress!” The bug type spins swiftly, launching a number of caltrop-like spikes onto the other side of the creek, setting up for damage on Silver’s future Pokémon. Then, Crobat’s dive completes as it slams into the round Pokémon. It’s not super-effective, and Forretress is very physically defensive, so the attack only has a moderate impact on the bug/steel type.

“Now, Rollout!” Bugsy shouts. Her Pokémon closes its outer shell, then begins spinning forward, slamming into the purple bat. The rock type move deals heavy damage, and Crobat winces in response.

“Fly again.” At Silver’s order, the bat soars back up into the air, fast as a bullet. With no target to hit, Forretress’ Rollout stops, preventing it from progressively getting stronger and stronger.

“Try to dodge, Forretress!” And try it does, but the Crobat is too fast. The bug type gets hit again, and before it can even react, Silver calls out “Wing Attack.” The four wings all slice down at the Forretress, who barely manages to hold on to consciousness.

“Sorry, pal. Explosion!” Bugsy commands. As Crobat goes for another strike, the spherical Pokémon begins to glow. Orange, then yellow, then white, then BOOM! The blast shakes the earth, and you can feel the shockwave even from where you’re standing. Silver’s Pokémon is sent careening into the mud, and both girls recall their now **** partners. This is intense!

“Not bad. Let’s see what else you’ve got.” You think there may actually be a small upturn to the corners of Silver’s lips, though it’s hard to tell from this distance. The two each grab their second chosen Pokéball, and release them at the same time.

“Gengar.” Silver’s ghost type takes to the field, its Levitate ability letting it avoid the spikes. Smart.

“Heracross!” You wince at Bugsy’s luck. Getting her spikes ignored and sending a fighting type into a ghost type? It doesn’t look good for her… but she seems confident nonetheless. “Now, Night Slash!”

The giant beetle rushes its opponent, preparing to use the super-effective dark type move. Of course it would be able to cover its weak spots, this is a gym leader’s Pokémon!

“Psychic.” Calmly calls Silver. Gengar’s eyes glow, it standing completely still, and the Heracross’ body contorts in intense pain. It pushes onward through the pain, connecting with its Night Slash against the foe Gengar, who staggers. Once again, the ghost type’s eyes glow, and Heracross crumples to the ground, writhing in agony until it faints.

Bugsy frowns, realizing that she’s on the back foot. “Come back, pal. Scizor, your turn!” Her last Pokémon is another bug/steel type, sleek and red. “Night Slash!” The small gym leader calls again to her new bug.

“Focus Blast.” Silver’s Gengar charges up a glowing ball of orange-ish energy, and releases it… missing the Scizor entirely. It then gets cut down by the opponents Night Slash, fainting.

Silver sighs. “Always misses… Oh well. Feraligatr.” Silver’s final Pokémon is her spiky, bipedal, blue alligator. It roars upon release, taking damage from the spikes laid out by Forretress earlier. Yet it still answers Silver’s command quickly. “Surf.”

The creek begins to rise up, and strikes out at Scizor by Feraligatr’s will, crashing against it with **** ****. As the water rears back for another strike, Bugsy calls out “X-Scissor!” Her partner obeys, slashing across the other Pokémon’s chest with its claws. Too little too late though, as the water slams into it again heavily, sending it face down into the mud.

After a few tense moments, it’s clear that Scizor isn’t getting back up. Silver has won the battle.

Bugsy sighs, recalling her Scizor, but smiles. “Congratulations, Silver. Well done! You’ve definitely improved a lot, even more than the other gym leaders told me.”

“Thanks. You’re really good.” Silver brings back her Feraligatr, then walks across the creek to stand next to the smaller girl. The redhead then reaches out and begins running her hands down Bugsy’s petite body, feeling her up.

“Ooh! I guess you don’t want money for winning, huh?” Bugsy giggles.

“Nope. One sec though.” Silver turns… and locks eyes with you. “C’mere. I want your help with something.”

You freeze as she addresses you, feeling like a kid who’d just been caught with his hand in the cookie jar. You sheepishly do as she asked, walking over to join the women. “Hi again, Silver. That was a great battle, you two.”

“You know this guy?” Bugsy asks, surprised to see someone else here.

“Met him in Viridian.” Comes Silver’s terse reply.

“I’m Red, from Pallet town.” You explain. “I was filling up my canteen when I saw you two. I decided it’d be fun to watch such a high level battle, but I didn’t wanna distract you guys, so…”

“And you wanted to watch what’s next.” Silver’s sharp, and true, words cut through you.

Bugsy smirks at you knowingly, but doesn’t seem angry. “Well, I’m Bugsy, gym leader of Azalea Town. Nice to meet you, Red.”

“Likewise. I’ve… seen you on TV before.” You respond awkwardly.

“The you’ve probably seen me get fucked before, so this is nothing new. Relax.” Bugsy’s words make you flinch at first, but the friendly look on her face calms you down. No need to be nervous, no one’s angry.

“So, what did you want me to do, Silver?” You turn to the still topless girl.

“Well…”
