Chapter 70 by duskdawn duskdawn

How will the recruitment go?

Goblin Recruitment

You land on the barn roof, which has been mostly covered again by brush. Shadow and Torch almost immediately approach you as you set Eve down, with the former crossing his arms and glaring at you while the latter speaks. "Saa'atcha, lhevket." Shadow then interrupts, with something you can't quite catch.

You look to Eve, and she translates. "They're wondering why we're here."

You nod, turning to the hobgoblin pair. "Thought so. We talked a bit about the hornet problem before, but now we have a chance to basically take them out for good. There's a hive to the northeast of here, and inside that hive is the Hornet Empress. If we capture her, we can neutralize every hornet for miles around."

They both absorb the information, before Shadow speaks, and Eve translates again. "This sounds like a big task. Torch, Shadow, and Og are the only ones of us that can reliably kill them."

You nod. Makes sense. Torch and Shadow have ranged attacks, and Og is...is that the ogre? Probably. "We're getting help from the humans." You pause, letting the shock of the statement set in.

Torch seems...thoughtful. She doesn't look angry, but her lips are pursed as she looks down and to the side. Shadow is outright furious, speaking with hatred, despite his stance not changing. However, Eve pauses, eyes wide, her hands shaking.

You set a hand on her shoulder. "Eve, you okay?"

She looks to you before moistening her lips. "Yeah, yeah." She looks down and clears her throat. "Y-you can't expect goblins and humans to work together..."

You squeeze her shoulder before letting go. "Eve and I have had plenty of progress working with the humans. If we don't attack them, they're a lot less likely to attack us."

He scowls. "Less likely? As soon as we rush into the fight, they'll stab us in the back."

Torch raises her hand to the other's shoulder. "Can you stop the humans from attacking us?"

You sigh. "I can't stop them, but I have a couple ideas to minimize the damage. For one, the goblinoids and humans won't be attacking from the same side of the hive. There's plenty of room in the area for both groups to never even see each other, let alone fight each other."

Shadow's eye twitches. "I bet you want us to work with the other tribes, too."

You nod. "Exactly. I'm not saying you have to get along, but all three tribes have a hornet problem, and this is a good way for the tribes to start working as allies."

He starts saying something again, but Torch pulls him away to talk more in relative privacy.

You set a hand on Eve's shoulder and crouch down to her level. "You're doing great, Eve."

She nods, her breath a bit shaky. "Y-yeah." She gulps, staring to the two hobgoblins. "They don't even recognize me..."

"Well, you're quite a bit different, right now." You rub her back.

"They weren't the same back then, either...but I still recognize them..." Her hands flex back and forth into fists as she grits her teeth, a tear running down her cheek.

"Eve, look at me. They think you're dead. It might be better to let them keep thinking that."

The goblin gulps, taking a breath. "Y-yeah. You're probably right..." She lightly slaps her face with both hands. "I'm fine. I'm fine." She focuses back in on the hobgoblins, who are returning, with Shadow clearly pissed off.

Torch is the one who speaks, though. "Where are we going?"

The rest of the tribes have a relatively similar reaction, with some goblinoids being **** to take the fight to the hornets, and others being either ecstatic or more than willing to follow you into battle. However, trying to be a kind leader, you offer the option to everyone to stay behind, especially if they're pregnant or injured to a degree you can't heal, like dismemberment. You tell them all to meet across the river from Riverbend, and give them all the same order to not harm each other or the humans. Dark Lord unfortunately doesn't seem to work on multiple, separate groups. But once they're all together, I can stop up to thirty of them from fighting each other or the humans.

Eventually, you land back near Riverbend, Eve quivering as she masturbates in your arms, like she has been for the past five minutes. "Please..."

You chuckle. "Well, you did great today, so I think you deserve a proper reward." She hurriedly nods, her eyes closed, as you continue. You set her down, bending her over against a tree. "You've been a good girl, haven't you?"

"Yes..." She barely has the strength to hold herself up against the trunk. "I have..."

You pull your pants down, exposing the dick that's been hard for nearly as long as the goblin has been touching herself. "You've gotten bigger recently..." You stick your penis between her legs, but don't penetrate, instead rubbing yourself against her soaking clit. "Maybe when you evolve again, you'll be big enough to take me inside properly..."

She moans. "Ava...ava...cho, lhevket!" Her hips weakly buck, spreading her juices all over your member.

You grip her hips to hold her mostly in place, massaging her butt with your thumbs. "Of course, you'll still need to be a good girl for me."

"Yes, Chief!" She futilely bucks again.

You manipulate your thin tentacles, slowly plunging them into her quenched pussy. You're still getting used to using them, since they feel nearly identical to a regular penis, but are much more prehensile. With a moan of your own, you begin thrusting, using her (unfortunately mundane) thighs to stimulate your cock while the tendrils thrust in and out of Eve's pussy.

Unfortunately, the goblin had already stimulated herself quite a lot on the way here, and she quickly begins spasming against you. "Kee...goe..." Her arms give out, and she nearly folds in on herself, falling slack as she rests on your dick.

You lift her up and turn her around, her eyes having that usual glazed look to them. I heard to keep going, so... You lower her back down, slipping your tentacles back into her.

Hey everyone! It's announcement time again.

So, you've probably noticed that the chapters are getting shorter lately. To be honest, I'm having a bit of burnout. A lot has been happening lately where I have to take point. Luckily, we're conveniently around the time when I planned to take a short break anyway due to Thanksgiving. (Yes, I'm American.) So, to help with my burnout, we're gonna take a bit longer of a break than I had initially planned. Our hiatus will end with a chapter being published on December 1st, wrapping up most of Day 6, with the following Monday and Tuesday's chapters likely surrounding another training session with Miki and meeting the captain that's on their way from Recuan (who will unfortunately be male).

In the meantime, I'm happy to answer questions in the comments that you all have. Other than that, Happy Thanksgiving, and I'll see you all again on the 1st!

What's next?
