Family Dinner

The two entered Sasha's bedroom. It was large room with dark red walls that were adorned in posters of warrior women wearing skimpy armor. A golden chandelier with purple crystals hung over a large bed covered in thick, velvety blankets. A large TV was affixed to the wall across from the bed, every modern video game console sat on a dresser below the screen. "Here we are, my domain." Sasha said with a sense of levity. She then grabbed a controller and sat on her bed. She looked to Lexi and patted her lap, "C'mon, girl. Let's kill some time until dinner."

Lexi climbed up into the bed laid down, resting her head on Sasha's lap as the young woman began playing a fantasy role-playing game. "This is Age of the Basilisk. It's my favorite game of all time. You can be a warrior woman in sexy armor and slaughter hordes of monsters, then you can go back to your base and romance your companions. I know it sound a bit trite, but I promise it's awesome." Lexi watched Sasha play the game and found herself enamored with it. She wondered why she never got into gaming and decided that when her role as a pet was over, she'd like to give it a go.

A few hours passed and the delicious smell of cooking food began to permeate the air. Sasha's eyes widened as she looked at the time on her phone, "Wow, I forget how easy it is to lose track of time playing this." She turned of the game and gave Lexi a pet, "Let's go see how dinner's coming along." Lexi got up off Sasha's lap and they both made their way downstairs and into the kitchen.

A somewhat older man dressed in fine white clothing was putting together a salad. Sasha put her hands on the counter across from him, "So, Raymond, What are we having tonight?"

The bald man looked up from the salad, "You're mother has asked me to prepare a rack of ribs with salad on the side." He then looked down to Lexi, "The pet here will be having cube steak covered in a light gravy and a side of steamed vegetables. Ms. Chaudhari wants her well-fed and happy."

Lexi's mouth watered at the description of her dinner. It's been a long time since she's had a real home-cooked meal and she was excited to eat one cooked by a master chef.

Soon, dinner was ready and the family gathered at the dining table. Sasha and her twin brother sat next to each other, across the table from their mother. Lexi's plate was placed on the floor next to Indira. The chef had cut the meat into pieces, making it easier for Lexi to eat. The family began to chow down on the delicious food. As Lexi took a bite of the steak, her taste buds danced at the incredible flavor. She was in heaven and didn't want to leave.

As the family ate their meal, Indira looked to her son, "Kiran, are you going out tonight?" She asked.

The young man nodded as he swallowed his food, "Yeah, I've got a date with this really hot redhead. Definitely expecting I won't be back until the morning." He smirked with an air of smugness.

Sasha rolled her eyes, "We get it, you're gonna fuck another girl. We really don't need to hear about your one-night stands." Lexi noted the genuine irritation in Sasha's voice and wondered why she was so concerned about her brother's sex life.

Indira took a sip of wine before looking to her daughter, "Sasha, your brother is free to speak of his exploits as he pleases...." She glanced over to Kiran, "....even if it is not appropriate dinner conversation."

Kiran nodded to his mother in acknowledgement before turning to his sister, "I've been meaning to ask you, have you seen the trailer for Throne of the Empire 4? The graphics are nuts!" He tried to relate to Sasha with the one thing they shared interest in.

"There's a trailer?!" Sasha pulled out her phone to watch the trailer, but stopped when her mother spoke up.

"No phones at the dinner table. You know this, dear." Indira spoke with a calm, caring tone. She was happy her daughter was excited by one of her few interests, but Indira was a stickler for rules and she needed her children to obey them.

"Sorry, Mother." Sasha put her phone way and the family continued eating their dinner, conversing with one another until their plates were empty.

When dinner was finished, Sasha had Lexi follow her back to her room, where they sat on the bed once more.
