Hinata finds the scroll and is sweeped away

Luckily, the scroll is on the next room over. Hinata quickly grabs it. As soon as she does, the temple grumbles like an angry belly. Pebbles fall from the ceiling, water pours from the walls.

Before she can find a way to somehow hide under a rock, a giant torrent of water comes down the hallway and sweeps Hinata away. The water breaks the temple's walls, and the kunoichi falls down a precipice for the second time in the day.

Luckily, h a wayward vine manages to catch her leg and stop the fall. Hinata is left dangling in midair. The scroll is in her hand, the rock in her mouth, and her heavy chest is following gravity and pointing toward the floor.

Little ants start to make the journey to the vine from her leg to inspect their new neighbor. They don't bite, but their small legs are ticklish as they walk all over Hinata's lower body.

Hinata remembers the rock! She pulls it away from her mouth and uses it to swat away the ants, as you do.

Then, she has a better idea. She can use the rock to cut the vine! Despite her irrational fear of landing on her head, Hinata's kunoichi training takes hold, and she spins to land on her feet.

However, she “lands” on an incline, and the ground is covered with mud. As if she was roller skating, she slides uncontrollably downhill, heading straight for a precipice.

Hinata jumps up and holds on to a tree branch, which she uses to leverage herself and climb the tree, sitting on a branch overlooking the precipice. That was close, but there is no time to rest.

The branch snaps under her feet, and she falls once more. This time splashing in a hot spring. Hinata managed to return safely from the forest!

She is back in town in the best possible location, considering how dirty, muddy, and sweaty she was. But, most importantly, the water is warm, which is good because Hinata doesn't want to get sick from being too cold.

“Do you have the scroll?” the shady ninja appeared in a poof of smoke.

“Yes!” Hinata hands over the surprisingly resilient scroll.

“Good, now Tsuande's debt is settled. Thanks… sucker!” The ninja disappears in another puff of smoke. With that done, Hinata reclines, relaxes, and goes to sleep... right until the sound of a shouting child wakes her up.
