Chaos and Smoke

You hadn't walked very far to take your bath, so it didn't take you long for you and Bulbasaur to make your way back to the camp you shared with Blue. Before you returned to the camp you could hear the sounds of commotion, and see a wisp of smoke rising from something burning.

"What's going on?" You ask Bulbasaur who just looks at you lazily.

You keep walking until you can see what's going on. You find Blue and his Charmander running around the camp as they chase away a mob of Caterpie and Weedle that are running around your camp site.

"Hey! What's going on?!" You shout at Blue.

Blue and Charmander don't stop running around the camp as they continue to chase the bug Pokemon, Blue shouting out in response "What does it look like?! Our camp got raided by these damn bugs! We gotta get rid of them or else they'll spread the fire."

Bulbasaur seems unphased by the bugs, she simply starts munching on some grass while watching the whole thing unfold. But you notice that indeed the fire from the campsite does seem to have spread, to your belongings specifically. "My bag!" You cry as you realize that your backpack is on fire. All your spare clothes, food, and other items are will be gone if you don't put the fire out soon.

Running over to your stuff you start trying to put out the fire while Blue and his Charmander continue to chase away the rest of the bug Pokemon. You manage to extinguish the flames without too much trouble, but your bag is ruined, along with your sleeping bag, and most of your spare cloths.

"Oh man…" You sigh, feeling defeated. You would have to buy more things for camp when you made it back to town, when ever that would be. Blue walks over to you, having finally managed to chase the bug Pokemon away.

He gives you a pat on the shoulder, "Don't worry about it. We can just share my sleeping bag." You look over your shoulder at Blue and can see he has a huge mischievous smile on his face at the thought of both of you sleeping together in his sleeping bag.

You roll your eyes, "I'm sure we will." You walk over to Bulbasaur to make sure she is ok. After checking on her you return the Bulbasaur to its Pokeball and ask Blue "So, what happened while I was away? Where did those bugs come from?"

Blue looks over at Charmander, and shares a mischievous grin with his Pokemon, then looks back at you, still grinning. "Charmander found 'em, and tried to play with them. I was starting the campfire when one of the Pokemon Charmander was chasing ran through the fire and spread it around the camp." He shrugs a bit before continuing "That was about when you got back to camp."

You sigh in exhaustion, today had been a long day. You had traveled into Viridian Forest, hiked far off trail, gotten into an argument with Blue, and now half of your stuff was burned. You wanted nothing more than to go to sleep, but your sleeping bag was destroyed, and you didn't feel comfortable sleeping on the ground. Which means you have little choice but to take Blue up on his offer to share his sleeping bag.
