“ Soooooo, I believe a thank you is in order!” You heard Maddie say as she greeted you back home.
“ A thank you for what?” I asked still kind of nauseous about what you just ate.
“ What do you think? Texting Chad to pick you up, duh!” Maddie’s says matter of factly “ Your just the one who’s been complaining about not having enough time to see him” you would only complain to her after she asked you when you were seeing him again. You couldn’t tell her never. You didn’t want to piss her off again with your “lying”.
