Mom's Gone

Mom died, she's gone. My mother who supported me and took me in when I became a vampire is dead. I couldn't go to her funeral. For starters it was held in the daytime. Secondly she's buried next to my father in Texas. To everyone back home in Texas I'm dead. To my aunts,uncles and cousins I'm dead, buried alongside my parents.

I was able to say goodbye though. I had her placed in a nursing home a few weeks before her death at her doctor's insistence. One of the nurses at the home, a place called Desert Rose Care Facility kept the window to mom's room open at night after I hypnotized her into doing so. Honestly I didn't know I had that much power.I would have to reinforce the hypnotism from time to time but it helped me get in and out in bat form so I could visit her. Goodbye mom, you'll always be remembered. I miss you and I loved you so much.
