Empty House

I wake at dusk. It's been a month since mom died, honestly if it wasn't for Cassandra I don't know what I'd do. She's been a friend and a lover all these months. I put on a short pleated blue denim dress and my black platform sandals. I float up the stairs like Cassandra taught me, I've been getting really good at it. Upstairs it's quiet.

No mom watching TV, no mom to ask how the night went when I get home before sunrise, no mom to dry my tears when I'm sad, no mom to share my happiness with. Just an empty house. I check the mail, the electric bill and the water bill came. I pay them online before going out. I put the cape my mom helped me make on then go out the backdoor.

Flying around I see a man walking alone. I land where he won't see me and return to human form. I get to where I'm beside him on the street. I say hello and wink at him then keep walking. He starts to follow me. Going down an alley I notice he's not far behind. I get to a secluded spot where there's no one around and stop. I lean against a wall and he comes up to me. He's a middle aged man with salt and pepper hair. He's wearing a grey tee shirt and tight jeans. I smile at him.

"Do you like what you see?" He licks his lips. Cassandra is waiting for me at her house, there are some people she wants me to meet so I'm pressed for time. I decide to go with infliction of pain to sweeten the blood. I gently put my hand on his crotch." I can show you a real good time and it won't cost you anything." Well it won't cost him anything other than his life." Okay little lady." I get closer to him and as I do I start to squeeze his testicles" urk!" I let go of his testicles before I bite into his neck and feed on his blood.

After I'm done feeding I turn his corpse to ash then turn back to bat form and fly to Cassandra's house
