Rebecca watched as Linda stepped out of her car with a huge smile on her face. Rebecca still couldn’t believe that she was going to stay with them for a while. Not to mention, that there was no way she wasn’t going to try to seduce her wife the entire time she was there. Rebecca scanned Linda from head to toe and hated the fact that she looked even remotely sexy to her. Rebecca loved her long, blonde hair that seemed to flow in the wind as she started grabbing things out of her car. “You know that won’t work. My sister loves me too much to simply kick me out.”

Rebecca hated the fact that she was right, and there wasn’t anything she could do to convince her that letting her stay was a bad idea.

Rebecca was about to punch this woman when Sharon came back and asked them to come inside since breakfast was ready. The twisted mocking expression disappeared as if it was never there as she walked inside the house.

Rebecca muttered to herself, “I don’t know how much of her I can take, and she just got here.”

James arrived at the bowling alley and met up with Mike. Mike was holding his own galaxy-themed bowling ball as James approached him.

“Hey James, how was your hot date?”

“Great man, I think that she’s interested in me.”

“Did you invite, Zoey?”

“Yes, she agreed to come. Today will be the day that I officially ask her to be my girlfriend.”

“We’ll see. Hopefully, after failing this time and realizing that you have feelings for another woman, she’ll see reason and move on.”

“Is anyone else here?”

“Yeah, Zoey’s here already. She left to get her shoes and bowling ball just before you arrived.”

“I should probably go and get mine too.”

James turned around and saw a woman with long shoulder-length black hair except the tips seemed to have been dyed a hot pink walking towards them. She was wearing a mostly black outfit consisting of a black crop top, a small black mini skirt, and some black high heels. The only things on her outfit that weren’t black were her socks and earrings which were both bubblegum pink. James noticed that her eyeshadow and lips were also a hot pink as she opened her mouth.

“Hey Mike, you’re looking great as usual.”

“Hey Amber, glad you could make it.”

James looked at her for a second and realized it was Amber. He had to admit that Amber outdid herself with her outfit. If he didn’t know any better then he would think that she was a goth girl that loved the color pink.

“I’ll set up the game for everyone while you guys get your shoes and bowling balls. Rick said that he can’t make it, so It’ll just be the four of us today.”

James and Amber both left to get the stuff they needed and by the time they returned. They saw Mike passionately kissing Zoey. James looked over to see Amber start crying before she runs off. James didn’t think things would escalate so fast as he chased after her. She ran into one of the private rooms the place uses for karaoke.

“I can’t believe that Zoey is going out with him. That bitch knew that I liked him but started dating him anyway. I’m such a fool.”

“I’m sorry Amber, but sometimes things just don’t work out. However, aren’t you already a sexy and capable woman with a heart made of gold, figuratively speaking, of course? James frowned, “Because you found out the person you were obsessing over is dating a woman that you consider your friend.”

“I don’t remember anything like that, but I do remember talking to you about something like that. Did I really just forget everything about him?”

James didn’t think she was faking since Amber isn’t the type to joke like this but how the heck did she forget about him so quickly and thoroughly? James couldn’t even begin to wrap his head around a possible explanation, “Do you know why this happened?”

“I do. Your ring makes any questions you ask yes and changes reality to make it true.”

James was shocked, if he has this ability, then how much has reality been changed because of him? Thankfully, he doesn’t remember asking anyone anything particularly harmful, and he would’ve noticed if something drastic around him changed. Is that the reason for Susan’s behavior? No, he didn’t ask her anything about her to warrant that change. He has been more popular with women lately, if it was because of the ring, then that would be a bit disappointing. If he truly has this power though, then he had to test it out.

“James, we should use the ring to put things back to normal since who knows what kind of changes the wrong question could bring about.”

James wasn’t about to give up on achieving everything he wants and having a bit of fun too.
