When Jant and Marbef got back to the hut Marbef invited Jant inside. They sat at a table and Marbef began to explain the flora and fauna of the forest. Jant listened intently committing as much to memory as possible.

Jant asked if she could stay the night offering her help in some of the chores. Marbef agreed and asked her to go fetch some fruit nearby for dinner. Jant did so. When she came back Marbef was cooking a stew.

Together they finished preparations. Eating together was quiet but fun after the initial awkwardness. After they cleaned up and got ready to sleep. Jant went to a corner and laid down leaning her human torso against the wall. In the back of her mind she was a little sad to see Marbef take the bed and not sleep with her.
