Return to the village (Nerovirm's P.O.V.)

I returned home to find Shadow missing.

"Where is she?" I asked.

"She was taken by the Order of the Cheat Slayers." one of the villagers told me.

I rushed to the town centre to find Shadow naked and hanging by the chains holding her to the post. Her back was tore to pieces.

"I'm sorry, they had her whipped to ****."

"Shadow!" I cried out, releasing her from the posts.

She was dead. I held her corpse in my arms, sobbing.

"WHO DID THIS!?" I shouted with rage.

"Knight Vigilant Lutovar."

"I'LL MAKE HIM PAY!"

A woman laughed. "Lutovar is going to rid the world of your disgusting degenerate kind." I knew that old bitch. She hated the reincarnated with a passion. Wouldn't surprise me if she was the one who ratted us out.

I drew my blade and slew her.

"Where can I find Lutovar?" I asked.

The village elder stepped forward. "I don't know but I know someone who does. Teresa Marsh. She's a witch who has lived in this world for 300 years. I've heard she knows about Lutovar and may even have with working with him at one point."

"Where can I find her?" I asked.

"She lives in the Highlands north of here?"

I brought a horse and rode north. I was going to find this witch and get her to tell me everything she knows about Lutovar. Then I'm going to hunt down and kill Lutovar. If only it was that easy.
