Field Trip

As Vanessa entered the building, she noticed that there was a sign directed at all the seniors in her school. Vanessa went up to it to check it out. As her eyes scanned the texted, she didn’t even need to finish it to realize what it was for. Today was the senior field trip! Vanessa couldn’t believe she had completely forgotten about it. Not wanting to miss the buses, Vanessa immediately began sprinting to the meet up location. As she ran through the halls, Vanessa saw students turn and stare at her. Vanessa did as she was told and climbed up onto the bus. As she looked around, she noticed that all the students on this bus were girls, so she assumed that they are separating the class by gender. As she walked down the aisle looking for a place to sit, she heard someone call out to her.

“Hey V! Come sit over here!”

Vanessa looked over to the noise and saw one of her friends waving to her. The girl’s name was Tori and her and Vanessa had been friends since they were kids. Tori was about the same height as Vanessa, with straight brown hair tied into a tight ponytail. As Vanessa got closer, she saw her friend was wearing a tight tank top and leggings. “I was worried you were going to forget we had the trip today,” Tori chuckled as her friend got situated.

“I almost did,” Vanessa laughed back, “It is a good thing they put those signs up or I would’ve completely missed this.”

“Would be nice if we knew what ‘this’ is.” Responded Tori.

“I’m sure they will tell us soon, so don’t worry.” Vanessa said. The girls continues talking for a few minutes as more students hopped on the bus. Soon enough, Sally entered the bus and stood at the front for everyone to see.

“Hello seniors! I know most of you already know me, but for those who don’t, my name is Ms. Rose, but you can call me Sally. I’m sure all of you are curious about where the senior trip is going this year. I am happy to inform you that today we are going to…”
