The Dungeon Queen

The Core room contains within it the gear taken from the four explorers including the missing potion case. Doom searches the potion case, but realizes he has no idea what he's looking for and sighs. He creates more tentacles to carry the case, the two corpses, gear he assumes to belong to the women and the **** Prithima and returns to Myrelia.

He places the potion case in front of her and pours it out carefully, "which of these is a healing potion? Do you know?" he asks, keeping the corpses hidden behind him for the moment as he places Prithima down carefully next to the **** Nal.

"The red one I'm pretty sure..." Myrelia responds and Doom nods and takes the red vial and uncorks it, placing it carefully against Myrelia's lips. She drinks it and then sighs, "ah yeah... that's the good stuff. I can already feel my spine healing. Alright, find anything else interesting?" she asks as she testingly begins to move her limbs.

"Well... Yes..." Doom says and presents the corpses. Myrelia's eyes open wide with horror.

"Wh... What the hell? Ginny?! She's dead?" Myrelia cries out in surprise and horror.

"It seems that way," Doom says, not adding the fact that he had met someone else claiming to be Ginny. He didn't know what to make of that yet and wasn't sure he wanted to complicate the narrative he had spun so far.

"Damn... Looks like that's the dungeon's core though... did they... kill each other somehow?" she asks as she stands up and approaches the two corpses.

"I don't know, but if the core is dead that does explain some things. Like why this dungeon seems to be running on some sort of autopilot," Doom states.

"Yeah... Well I suppose all that's left now is to wait for Prithima to give birth and then we can hope for Nal and her to wake up. After that we can find a way out of here and return to Saluma," Myrelia says as she turns away to grab her gear.

"Ah yes... About that..." Doom says as he begins to slowly slide his tentacles towards Myrelia. Before he can strike though, a voice interrupts.

"Ah! You!" the voice of Ginny cries out and Doom and Myrelia both turn to see Cara and Ginny standing in the entrance to the room.

"What, Ginny, but you're dead?!" Myrelia responds with shock.

"Cara? How are you here? Get away from Ginny she's an impostor of some kind," Doom yells.

"What... I... I know, why are you here?" Cara asks.

"What the fuck is going on here?" Myrelia screams in confusion and at that moment Prithima gives birth.
