Fashion?

Lexx reached one clear hand down to entangle her fingers in Kira’s hair, leaning down to caress her cheek and neck with soft wet kisses. Then she shifted, melting again flowing around Kira’s body, her shape and texture changing. In less than thirty seconds she found herself lying on the couch wearing the same tee and pantie combo she was sure had been destroyed by the strange creature that had pinned her to her now dry couch.

She stood. “What the fuck?” Kira inspected her tee. It was the same 5XLT she’d gotten back in college to use as a sleep shirt. The Iron Grond logo, with its flames erupting from its mouth, faded against the grey fabric. She felt the material between her fingers, it certainly felt like the well loved fabric of her favorite shirt… Had it been a dream?

Kira retreated back to her room. She might not know what was happening but she would just stay out of the apartment until Arthur got back. She’d go see a movie or something. She opened her closet door, maybe harder than she needed too and grabbed a something more suited to the public tossing it on the bed and starting to shuck off her shirt. Or she tried to at least. As her fingers gripped the fabric it dissolved into the cool bluish liquid and began to flow once again rearranging itself, into the outfit she had tossed on the bed. Knee high leather boots with tight dark blue jeans tucked in and a green jacket over a black tank somehow better tailored than the originals appeared on her as if by magic.

She stopped and picked up her jaw off the floor, and inspected herself more critically in the mirror. “Are you… clothes?” She felt stupid that she was asking her jacket a question, but at this point she didn’t know what else to do. Her lapel shook itself. “No?” Her brow furrowed, but she began to calm down. Arthur had taken Mata shopping a few weeks ago. He had worn that cheap suit for like three days when she first met him, and ever since then his drip had been on point. He had been dressed like a new man.

“Okay. Okay, did Arthur get you?” The lapel wagged up and down. That answers that, I guess. “What- can you do other clothes?” That turned into a rather large understatement. Kira and Lexx spent the next few hours cycling through every outfit she owned and then moving on to outfits that Kira had wanted but never had been able to afford, describing them to the best of her ability and asking for alterations made instantly by the goo girl.

Kira knew one thing by the end. She wanted one.
