When Turtle returns from the mainland

Goku was relaxing in a beach chair with a nudie mag on his face to block out the sun's rays when he heard a familiar voice coming from the ocean.

"Hey Goku! Long time no see!"

Goku lifted the magazine and looked over to see that his good friend Turtle had finally returned from... whatever he had been doing, and gave him a big grin. "Turtle! Where the hell have you been, buddy?" He jumped up and grabbed the heavy tortoise like he were a paper weight and spun him around, "We missed you!"

"Did it never occur to either of you to come looking for me?" Turtle sighed

"I tried to one day, but the Flying Nimbus won't let me ride him anymore for some reason." Goku frowned.

"You're kidding," Turtle shook his head, "So the Master corrupted you too."

"What are you talking about?" Goku's frowned deepened as he set Turtle down, "I'm a perfectly healthy guy!"

Turtle sighed, "You wouldn't get it even if I told you."

"If you say so..."

"Anyways, this..., person helped me get back home," Turtle explained, "Sh..., they want a reward for their philanthropy. Said that they're looking for something called the Dragon Balls."

"I'm sorry, the Dragon's what?" Goku asked.

"Magic stones that look like what the Master wears on his necklace," Turtle explained, "She wouldn't tell me anything more than that."

"'She'? Wait, it's a girl?!" Goku asked, suddenly excited, "I've never met a real-life one before!"

"Aw crud," Turtle facepalmed.

"Oh, wait, that's not true," Goku thought aloud to himself, oblivious to Turtle's dismay, "I met some girls when Master Roshi would take me to the city for the fighting tournaments. But I never got to talk to them for long... Roshi always scared them off for some reason."

"Gee, I couldn't imagine why," Turtle groaned, his sarcasm lost on Goku.
