Jack demands the truth

"Jack," Miranda said firmly, looking the tattooed woman in the eyes, "it's over between us. Nothing you can do can possibly fix what you've done to my heart. Now please, go home. I won't say that your not invited to the wedding because of - "

"What?! 'WEDDING'?!" Jack yelled in shock, jumping back to her feet. "You're getting married?! To wh-"

Out of the corner of her eye, Jack saw Jane hiding behind the couch. And The Spectre only realized she had been spotted when the biotic woman's face became a murderous scowl.

"Oh. Hell. No!"

Before Jane could even react, she found herself being lifted into the air and thrown onto the couch proper by the tattooed woman, Jack stomping into the living room and towards her as Miranda let out an audible gasp.

"You little bitch!" Jack screamed, hot angry tears streaming down her face. "I was going to have you be my best man when I proposed to her, and THIS is the thanks I get?! You steal her away from me and marry her yourself?!"

"How did you not know we were even dating?" Jane asked, Jack only offering an enraged snarl as a response.

"Jack that's enough!" Miranda yelled as she raced into the living room in front of Jane. Her towel had come undone somewhere along the lines, but right now the former Cerberus operative didn't care as she snarled at the biotic. "Consider yourself uninvited to the wedding, Zero! In fact, if you so much as stand one mile away from the church -"

"Ask her, Miri!" Jack yelled, pointing at Shepard. "She was there with me that night! She knows exactly what the barkeep gave us! And considering her naked ass being covered with a pizza box was plastered all over the extranet, I think she tried to put the pieces together the following morning, and now knows exactly what happened!"

"Fine, I'll humor you, but then you are to get the hell out of our house and never come back!" Miranda said with a scowl before turning to Jane, "Jane, is what Jack saying true? Or is she, obviously, lying?"
