Yes, ever since we were young!

"I have loved you ever since we were young." you say.

Jane looks very surprised and says, stammering a little:

"... But you don´t, I know, I read your mind and you didn't just like I knew."

You can clearly see, even though you can´t lie to her, she doesn't believe you and say:

"Jane... I love, love you, what did you think I was doing when I met you during our first year at school, right before we started avoiding each other?"

You give her a second to realize it herself, she thinks for a second and gets a little wide eyed and says shocked and surprised:

"You were trying to ask me out!"

You give her your best "yeah" look as Jane continues using her considerable intellect to figure it out herself and says:

"That´s why you became so distant, you thought I had rejected your invitation to a date!"

You smile at her warmly and say:

"Yeah, I should had been more straight forward with you and not been so afraid to just ask you out and been more clear about what I wanted."

Jane stares at you, dries her eyes a little, sniffles a little and says:

"I also should had been more straightforward with you... we really were idiots back then, all this time we could had been... But I can change it all!"

Jane lifts her hand for another snap, but you grab her arm, stopping her and say:

"NO! DON´T!"

Jane looks at you puzzled as you say:

"Jane, you can´t just change the past like that, trying to make it perfect, It doesn't work like that, it´s always going to be something, you won´t like."

"But I can change it, the past, we could have it exactly like we wanted it, all those years unhappily alone, I will just have to make you remember that new reality and ..." Jane says frantically.

You interrupt her and say:

"Jane just stop, by doing that you are just living in the past, just try living in the now, the present, right here with me. And I can remember all of the changes you make, all those new pasts you are making, I can remember them all."

"You do? But I had not decided that you would remember it." Jane says puzzled

"But I do and it´s actually pretty painful, when you do changes in the past and a new memory just pops into my head, I remember how it was and how it is, after you change the past." you say as you give her a tired look.

"I´m hurting you..." Jane says before she goes wide eyed in shock and she realizes what you figured out before and you say:

"Jane I don´t think you have full control of you powers!"

Jane looks at you with the realization and says:

"That´s why you thought those things about me, because I thought you thought those things about me... And I just created a new reality that fit what I thought had happened!"

She looks at you shocked, frightened and asks:

"What should I do?"
