Relative Height: Between 5'5" to 6'0" tall (Homo sapien non-conformative)
Relative Weight: Between 100 to 130 lbs (Homo sapien non-conformative)
Relative Build: Tends to be slender but martial vocations build light to moderate muscle features. Naturally flexible and limber. Structure variation is homo sapien conformative.

Distinctive Physical Features:

• Pronounced upward angled ears, sharp pointed. Mid level angled variations exist. Often marked by decorative piercings to indicate experience, earned by approval of community leaders. The more ear piercings visible, the more respectable the individual dark elf. Earrings usually awarded by elders as rewards.
• Darker skin tones ranging from light to dark browns to ashen grey. High resistance to heat and sunlight.
• Hair colors are distinct from shades of dark brown to shades of black, purple or grey. Shades tend to always be of darker saturation.
• Eye colors are distinct with various shades of yellow, purple and grey. All shades inconsistent with homo sapien color spectrum and unique blends.
• Exceptional dexterity and hand to eye coordination.

Distinctive Metaphysical Features:

• Average magical ability, Class level 3 out of 5. Utilizes magic primarily as a survival tool and for convenience.
• Intelligent. Average member easily possesses around 110+ IQ on humanoid spectrum. Most cultures emphasize the use of strategy and cunning.
• Average members can be relatively adaptive and engaging, making them highly suitable for living in human urban centers. Tendency to form communal groups, referring to other members in the group as 'sister' in human terms, with which they share resources and intel as well as coordinate among themselves instead of mixing with other sub species (More as a cultural tradition than for any other reason, originally formed by marginalization from other sub specie communities). Hierarchies are respected but kept loose when convenient or required.
• Sexual tendencies vary from region to region but gains immense satisfaction from meeting, maintaining or even surpassing expectations. Despite devious appearances, always prioritizes the human male first and their joy feeds into theirs, making them a particularly favored sub specie to keep as slaves. However, keeping one dark elf often leads to keeping all of her communal comrades, which is something many humans often do not mind. May extend priorities to the human's own personal community.
• A very loyal sub specie. When deep trust is earned, often through great effort considering how calculating and mercenary they can be, that loyalty often runs for the rest of a human lifetime. May even extend beyond many generations of humans if their community has benefited the dark elf's own community greatly.

The dark elves have always been a dubious minority compared to their close cousins, the high elves, considering that their homelands reside in places that appear remote and barren in comparison. The arid and desert environments they grow up in makes then naturally adaptive survivalists. Whatever monarchies arose from their part of the world also follow similar attitudes to nation building and international politics. They had a historical reputation for being incredibly shrewd and deceptive. Intrigue was their game and few others had the mind to trust them for that fact alone.

Post cataclysm, such a reputation did not matter to humans. Many of their surviving queendoms and empires used their infamous skills to curry favor with many human governments, making themselves appear as indispensable and influential as the high elves. They quickly took advantage of their new master's desires, giving them anything and everything they would ever want, and in doing so, gaining back just as much. By far, among all sub species, the dark elves have been the most successful in keeping most of what they originally had. The only difference was the added benefit of being able to decadently enjoy all the human cum they are so generously given.
