Cosplay Alley was the first place John thought to look. The con staff were worried about fire hazards when crowds formed to take pictures of cosplayers so they had an entire ballroom dedicated to photography. Then you had the scifi/fantasy geek section. By far the most popular of the three. The people there were dressed up in your standard convention garb. You had your Trekkies or Trekkers dressed in Starfleet uniforms, elves dressed up in medieval attire, and the latest characters from whatever big comic book movie came out recently.
