A Chat With Some Devils

"I'm sure you know the answer by now." I tell the Devil of Temptation. Upon hearing this I see his face transform to anger.

"Is that so." The Golden Devil says. He sounds mad, but there's something else there too. "Well, Eric. How about you join us? Before, we would've let you go depending on how you cooperated with breaking the seal. But now, unless you join, we're going to kill you. But if you join is you could be one of us. A true Devil!"

"I think I'll pass. I'm rather fond of my current life." I tell him and he shrugs.

"Good, because Strength and Glassy would've torn you a new one." The Golden Devil replies before lunging at me. I toss my Katana after placing two Explosion marks on it. He knocks it out of the air with his claws and I activate them while running towards him.

I grab his right wrist with my left hand, or claw, and swing my right fist into his face. It connects but only after he digs his right claw into my side.

I smile seeing I did more damage and mark his shirt with an Explosion mark. I jump back and notice Innu, Luna and Asami's Minotaur are fighting the Devil of Temptation.

"It's been fun, but this is goodbye Goldie Locks." I say before activating the mark.

The Golden Devil cries out as he falls. This gets Temptations attention and he turns to look. Before he can say anything I turn to him and cast Blink. I appear next to him and grab his horns. He's too shocked to react in time and I jump while pulling his face down into my knee while casting Lucky Draw.

No Item Drops Since The Target Is Still Alive!

Good, that's what I wanted. I think before dropping him. I start thinking of a way to tie him up when someone tackles me from behind. I hear a familiar voice squeal and turn around.

"Alpha! That was amazing!" Luna says. I go to pet her but get knocked down by another person tackle hugging me.

"You're amazing Master!" Innu says.

"Thank you two, now help me tie him up." I say and they nod before letting go.

"H-here you go." I hear someone say behind me. I turn around and see a Lyna wearing plate armor. I can't see their face but their voice sounded masculine. He's holding a pair of handcuffs, but not like police cuffs. They're thicker, much thicker, and covered in runes. "These are to be u-used to contain any prisoners, S-Sir!" He says and I smile.

"Thank you." I say taking them. He nods and turns around. I can't blame him for being nervous. I just slayed the Golden Devil and knocked out the Devil of Temptation. He's probably frightened. Thinking of it, they haven't fully digested me being a Devil yet, so this doesn't help. I guess my horns, claws and wings don't help. I think while cuffing the Devil of Temptation. After I finish cuffing him I turn to the girls. "Are you three alright?" I ask.

"We're fine, how are you?" Asami answers and I shrug.

"Been better, but I'll be fine." I say and she smiles.

"Good." Is all she says before hugging me.

"So, what now?" Luna asks me.

"No clue. I'd like to go help the others with the undead but I don't have much mana left. I'd probably get in the way." I say and Luna giggles. Just then a tall man comes running out of the main tent I woke up in.

"Healers get ready! The battles over, the troops are coming back!" He shouts out.

"What happened to the Litch King?" I hear a woman shout.

"We'll talk about that later! Now get to work!" He answers and the others start running around.

"What should we do?" Innu asks and I shrug.

"Just wait, I guess." I tell her and we move to the side where we're out of the way. I take the **** Devil of Temptation with me and hang onto him. I'm assuming the cuffs prevent you from using mana, but I don't want to risk leaving him.

"You're awake, good." I hear my gramps say from behind me. I turn around and see him covered in injuries. His armor is in beat up and broken. He has blood covering his left arm and running down his face and chest.

"You look like hell." I say and he laughs.

"I've certainly been better." He answers. A hear someone gasp from my left and see another man walk up to my gramps.

"Come over here, I'll get you patched up." He says and my gramps shakes his head no.

"No offense but my grandson here is Gaias Champion. I'd rather let him heal me." He says looking at me.

"No, Gaias Champion doesn't have the mana to heal anyone." I tell him before face palming. "Nevermind, I'm an idiot." I say before drawing my Katana. I forgot that the Knowledge Core I placed in it allows me to recharge 500 MP a day. I use its ability and the blade lights up a bright orange before the light enters my chest. "Where are your wounded?" I ask the healer. He leads me to where a large group of people are laying down in rows.

"These are all the injured. Everyone's been brought back by now." He says and I thank him.

"Stay close gramps, you too girls. I won't be able to keep this up for long." I say before I start walking. I cast Gaias Embrace and start to emanate a soft green light. The light stretches about five feet in all directions around me. I start slowly walking around the injured people. My gramps and the girls follow me and once I use up all my mana I stop. I managed to make it almost all the way through to everyone. However I wasn't able to heal everyone all the way, only about two thirds.

"That's impressive." My gramps says from behind me. I turn around and see he's still covered in blood. But the wounds have closed up and his bruises are gone.

"There you are! Come on, we need to go!" I hear Claire shout and turn to look at her. "What are you waiting for? Come on!" She shouts again and we start following her.
