Town Touchdown

With a groan you sit up, your head pounding and your body aching as if you were just hit by a car, healed instantly, and it again, “Son of a bitch…next time I see him I’ll strangle Urahara until he turns purple.”

With a groggy grunt you crack open your eyes, your gaze turning all around you body as you look at the scenery that surrounds you. The view that meets your eye is a brilliant overlook of a bustling cityscape you’ve never seen before, your perch atop one of the town’s largest buildings offering you an unmatched perspective over the world below. “Well now,” you mutter to yourself, a small smile crossing your lips as you chuckle softly, “isn’t that nice…now where the fuck am I?”

“You’re in Karakura Town Johnny-kun,” the familiar voice of Yoruichi speak from behind you, your body turning to see the cat form of Yoruichi perched on the edge of the roof, “and from the looks of it Urahara-kun did know what he was doing…”

You chuckle softly, your hand scratching at the back of your head as you speak, “I'll give the idiot some credit sure, but I said I’d do anything to be with my girls come hell or high water.”

Yoruichi gives you a soft feline smile, her eyes glinting with mischief as she speaks, “I had no doubt about that Johnny-kun, but now that I look at you I am completely certain that this was the right path for you.”

Giving Yoruichi a look of confusion you ask, “What do you mean Yoruichi-chan?”

With another playful smirk Yoruichi nods to your waist, your eyes falling down to gaze upon a twin pair of swords somehow strapped to your waist, “It seems that they simply couldn’t wait for you to call them Johnny-kun.”

Somewhere in Soul Society a lazy, curly haired man doesn’t notice a thing as the swords beside his body vanish but at the moment all you know is the feel of what seems to be weightless steel at your side, “Woah…where the he-“

Your thoughts are quickly interrupted by a loud voice, the unmistakable call of Rangiku soon followed by her customary hug that sends your face into her ample bosom, “Johnny-chan! He’s over here!”

One by one more arms take hold of you, your girls grabbing hold of your body and exclaiming their joy at your presence. “John-sama! You really are here!” “Johnny-kun, thank god we were so scared when you didn’t show up with the rest of us!” “Fuck yeah! Johnny’s here with us and we’ve got out Reiatsu back!”

After a bit of hugs and reassuring the girls of your well being you separate from them, a beaming smile on your lips as you speak again, “I’m so happy to see you girls again!”

“We are too John-kun,” Renji says with a soft smile, her eyes turning from your face to your waist as she finally notices your twin blades, “And it looks like you’ve got your Zanpakuto already!”

You chuckle and nod, you hand gripping the hand of one of the blades as you speak, “Yeah, I don’t know where they came from but I almost didn’t notice until Yoruichi-chan pointed them out.”

From her perch on your shoulders Yoruichi seems to preen a bit before Chimpette decides to speak up, “Well of course they’d show up right when you get here! Zanpakuto are part of your soul Johnny, especially if you know their names already. It just makes sense that they’d pop up the first chance they could when you finally make it to our world.”

“Oh right,” you say with a sudden realization, your hand still on the leather wrapped handle of your blade as your begin to speak, “You wanted me to tell you’re their names right? If I remember correctly, I think they are called Kate-“

“There they are! Chimpy-chan! Snakey-chan! Renren-chan! Boobies!”

“Matsumoto! You have some explaining to do!”
