When I opened the Weapon Box I received a surprising legendary drop. The weapon appeared in my lap out of thin air.

Phlask’s Thorns(legendary)
An exact replica of a revolving syringer pistol first made by the demon lust mage Phlask. The syringes it fires come back to the gun by magic. And each cylinder fires 7 different ammunition types:

It was a large black hand cannon, surprisingly light in the hand. The casing around the cylinders had a slit that showed a different color for each position, and there were small levers for your thumb to rotate it left or right. The Chamber was clear, and rotating it I could see each “syringe” inside. Corrosive Splash, Hellbrew Blast, Concussive Crack, had no needle and it looked like mini grenades. It came with glass sights that popped up when you held it with, as well as integrated laser sight under the barrel that also changed colors. It was incredibly impressive looking and had a somewhat retro styling like it belonged in a western, but also strange symbols, patterns, and some kind of calligraphy was machine etched all over. Inside the app there was a manual document attached to its page.

Hmm I definitely need to test this thing. After reading the manual, interestingly, the ones that are actually syringes can be administered point blank without issues, or damaging the target on impact. And you do this by pressing the barrel firmly, till the muzzle bottoms out, and you pull the trigger. It even came with velocity curves, and how to use the sights to arc the shot at long distances. Hmm what now? There is a switch on the bottom of the grip that magically manifests a stock. Finding it I flipped it, making sure both ends were pointing away from me as smallish stock jumped out from behind the cylinders. The scope became larger to better fit the new frame of the gun. And even a foregrip manifested under the end of the barrel. What the hell is this thing?

“It’s Phlask’s Legendary Gun. All legendary drops are exact simulacrums of real demons' parts, or their artifacts. Phlask was a bit eccentric even for a mage. But he managed to defeat many powerful demons throughout the realms in single combat that were a lot larger than he was. So I think it is a perfect weapon for you. And the infinitely refilling healing flasks will always be useful even if it's not a cure all,” Maeva said after appearing in a puff of purple glow.

“Huh. And I guess that legendary drops are just rare drops for epic boxes?” I asked.

“Yeah super rare,” Maeva confirmed.

“Where am I going to put this?” I said holding it up, not sure where I am going to hide it.

“Oh you can just unequip it, it will be stored for you for whenever you want to use it,” Maeva explained.

“Oh right…not used to this weird magic app yet,” I said before having it poof out of sight with a few taps at my arm-pad.

“Breakfast is ready!” my mother called out from beyond my room.
